ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 5/24/2018 (Western Conference Finals, Game 5)

This might be the most frustrated I have ever been watching the Rockets. Everyone is playing so damn hard, but we can't make simple, basic plays that we have been making all year. Harden had 7-8 wide open stepbacks that we have seen him drill all year long. Chris Paul is looking hesitant like Ryan Anderson. ****!

Ugh, yeah they look very tired. Not feeling good about this next half

 

Whole other half to play. They played well defensively just not offensively. It takes more effort for Defense. The shots WILL fall. Folks need to stop complaining. Hell we not down 10. It' tied. Uplift our team instead of criticizing every gotdamn play!

How long has it been since LT or prince has had a hit? A goat a goat.

 

CP3 looks amazing physically. Clearly moving really well.

Harden is just playing like an idiot.

While CP3 isn't making shots, he's missing good looks, but destroying them on D, and driving and kicking really well.

HARDEN is throwing whole possessions out the window on offense, and literally can't find his man on defense.

Harden can't attack soon enough, can't make an interior pass, an open shot, a contested shot. Rebound, NOTHING.

He's been HORRIBLE in this game.

 

Harden needs to drive. He's done a pretty good job of finishing at the rim today.

Also, we look better on offense when cp3 runs the show off of misses. He does a better job a pushing the pace a bit and probing for easy looks.

I don't mind Harden walking it up after they make a bucket but when they are scrambled we need to get out a bit more.

I think both teams look ragged b/c they are drained. Both teams basically went 7 deep last game.

Our defense has looked pretty good. We need Harden to drive assertively and our role players to keep firing away

 

Yup. It's a battle of wills from here on out.

 

What game are you watching? The offense is predictable and stagnant. Shots aren’t going in cause they’re shooting contested jumpers.

 

TNT morons keep trashing the Rockets because they play iso ball to death.

Meanwhile, the Warriors have been demoted to a iso ball team as well. Durant is a ball-stopper like his bro Westbrook. He can't create worth crap for anyone but himself.

At least Harden and Paul get their teammates wide open looks. If we make those then this game is over.

 

Big second half would be great, but not necessarily shooting well. He just can't turn it over and should remain solid on defense.. which includes rebounding.

Paul can't be subpar though, unless TWO of Tucker, Ariza, Gordon, Green, Capela, etc, reps nice.

Rockets can still win by 15+

Do you think that the rockets will win if cp3 and harden go 4/80 from the field and 0/20 from 3?

I dont but I dont predict that they will have another 4/20 and 0/10 half. They will have to hit some shots and earn it. Idk why thats so controversial for me to say lol

There's no hiding the fact that 99 percent of the people outside of Golden State want us to win this series.
