I had Houston won out straight on money line tonight! OH yeah!!!! Hopefully we can protect the home court this time and beat them again on the road!! 4-2 HTWN! Then we can try to get PG instead of Lebron and have the dynasty going!

 

i feel like i miss foster brothers...these refs man...hope we won't see them again in this seriess.

 

I'm enjoying it!!! BELIEVE ME!!! I'm about to go retroactively watched everything I missed in sports media to see just how wrong people were. Media black out has been lifted!

All about toughness right now. Great basketball played on both sides, other part was gutting it out, a will, a want.

What does it say about this team after losing by 41?

So many things go into it. Gotta have great players but they believe in each other, push each other, all from the right spot. Says a lot about character.

Keeping poise during Warriors run?

We have guys that believe. We talk about it, they're gonna make their runs. Keep attacking, going back at 'em. They hit 4-5, then they're gonna miss 2-3.

Down 12-0?

You don't have to say anything. It's so much fun coaching them. You don't have to say a lot. They found a way. All we did was get back to even. At least we're even & not down 3-1. Still a lot of work to be done.

How physically tired were your players?

They were big time minutes. They were tired. Just enough rest, timeouts, stoppage that I'm looking at their faces making sure they're OK. 4 guys with 40 minutes. Both teams are tired. Gotta find a will. Won't always be pretty but gotta be tough.

Was this a pressure game? How much did they miss Iguodala?

Good player, I'm sure they missed him. Pressure? They've been in a lot of games. If we can get down the stretch even or up, we can close it out. Trevor locks someone down, PJ getting rebounds & being a bear. So many guys contributed. Fun team to coach.

Eric Gordon had a tough offensive game but kept with him. What did he bring?

Know he made one big shot. He started off shaky. He's important to us. We can't do without him. We'll ride him all the way. I trust them 100% in what they try to do.

Defense it took to get this W?

Highest level we've ever played defensively. A lot of stops, tough rebounds, loose balls, didn't get into foul trouble too early, great switching, they got tired in the 4th because they felt us for 3 quarters. Let's see if we can repeat it.

Biggest fix/correction?

I regret calling them soft. I was disappointed in our effort. They're not soft but didn't play with the force we needed to. I don't remember that game. They're not soft. They proved it. I misspoke & you guys miswrote it. ... Chris felt better. His foot felt better. He said if I can get my foot right, we can beat these guys. We'll see. We're just back to even. We know what we have to do.

 

Get that **** outta here.

 

He played well overall, but the game would not have been close had he closed it out properly.
I can't remember any great play he made after the second quarter.

 

Amazing how the TNT crew still don’t give much credit to this team.

 

Thinking the secret is to let James Harden run the show in the first half...and then get CP3 run the show in the second half. Chris Paul won this game down the stretch. James was gassed. But he competed on defense. Thats all one can ever ask. GREAT game Rockets.

I know the Rockets fans will show up for game 5...dont let the Warriors take out the crowd. If it is close, home court really will play a huge role. Congrats...on a franchise type win...Lebron is watching

We won this game due to KD's poor shot selection... I guess when u hit so many miraculous shots, you believe you can keep hitting them... had he played smarter, we'd have lost...

Truly glad we won... but it could have easily gone the other way...

 

Brother I’m right there with you. I haven’t watched any of the Rockets games in the playoffs following a loss.....I’m in no way superstitious. Just don’t want to invest time for a disappointing play and be pleasantly surprised after the fact.

It’s a win win for me personally lol. Great win by the Rockets. Someone said they were down by 10 in the 4th at one point. Feels like quite the mountain being down 2-1 and absolutely needing to tie it 2-2 in about the toughest place to play against a punk tough team to beat.

Thank God they got it done. Winning a close one in this fashion in some ways bodes better than blowing them out on the road in my opinion.

Winning 2 the way the Rockets have in this series is no easy feat. They’ve earned it. I really hope the Rockets Worry them after game 5. They need to roll them.
