Where the hell is our best defender during the third quarter? Our best defender sat on the bench almost the whole damn quarter while Golden State went in a big run. WTF? People will complain about Harden and Paul, and their leadership, but a couple things come clear when you see this type of third-quarter. One, the coaching isn’t there. Two, Capella shouldn’t be getting anywhere close a max contract if we can’t rely on him to anchor the defense and play big minutes. Thirsly, the supporting cast has once again disappeared. Where the hell is Ariza? Where is Tucker? And why are we slowing it down and waiting until the last minute to get into the shot clock when everyone knows, including the announcers, that’s a recipe for failure?
I wonder if those scrubby ass of the Suns are still going to max Clint...as soon as they got mentioned he started to play "bad", coincidence?
Chill out. Capella dominated in the first three series because each team plays big men. Draymond is Warriors big man. So not really the type of series where Capella would be effective. Hence why PJ Tucker is putting in work.
Lol @ three whiskeys and getting too drunk to spell. Looks like we found the high schooler posing as the internet bada$$
This series has to hurt his stock a little with anyone thinking of offering max. There's still a good chance he's going to continue progressing and his main issue is strength imo. But he hasn't been a huge factor offensively. Is that on him, the Warriors defense, or our offense not finding him? Prolly some of both. Still. I'd expect Rockets to match even if he is offered max.
They're not letting him get loose on the PNR. He got called once for over the back tonight, yet I would still like to see him a little more active on the boards. Second chance points from pure hustle are a silent difference maker when two teams are well matched.
Draymond is an amazingly good player. Their best player right now. He has to meet his force with the proper amount of force. When Clint got blocked in that first quarter you could see him get frustrated and down on himself. He always plays better at home. Hope we see it.
Donkey boxes out AND holds him very well without refs seeing it. Warriors have been limiting him as much as possible. Capela needs to bulk up as he isn’t quick enough to guard the perimeter against Golden State. Donkey is man handling him in rebounds.
