So many stories floating around the media yesterday and today about how tonight's Game 4 will be a career-defining game for our superstar. But we've all seen many different Hardens in playoff games the last few years. Private poll: Sure, there are many ways James can influence a game, but when his scoring game is on, we usually win. Points-wise, which Beard will we see tonight?
The fact that you have to ask which "version" of our superstar is going to show up tonight is sobering.
most likely 20-29 points Which CP3 is gonna show up tho? His lack of impact isn’t being talked about enough.
My heart says he'll score 42 and the Rockets win! my brain says he'll probably score 26 in a mediocre performance. 10 of those points from the free throw line.
I'm concerned about both of them. Rockets need MVP Harden the next 3-4 games and CP3 has to step up and show he's the difference-maker the Rockets traded for. D'Antoni also needs to show he can prep a team to play their best deep in the playoffs against a tough opponent. IMO, the lapses of effort and focus in games 1 and 3 are a direct reflection of the lack of control he has over this team.
Last game was a complete team effort of suck -- Harden could have dropped 50 and we still would have been soundly beaten. The media obsession with Harden not having heart, not showing up in big games, etc is annoying -- McGrady didn't get this level criticism (which he deserved). I fully expect Harden and the rest of the team to bounce back with a big game tonight.
Well...yes. This is true. The Rockets don't beat Golden State unless they play pretty much perfect basketball, which is an unfortunate reality. No excuse to not give quality effort, though.
so which was it: Seen It All Year Long Harden: 30-39 points or True MVP Harden: 40+ points and domination Seems like defensively Harden was in the True MVP category
