Ah. So that just leaves...*checks notes* 2 MVPs, a DPOY, Two all-time great scorers and two of the best shooters of all time.
****, one of their finals MVPs is out? what will they ever do. I'm sure they can just go to their 2 other MVPs, a dpoty and another all-star to pick up the slack.
Oct 17th, 2017 Oracle Arena - Houston Rockets 122 : 121 Golden State Warriors. INACTIVE PLAYERS GSW: Andre Iguodala
Marginally increases our chances, but honestly I don't even think it will matter. Looney will have like 4 blocks and Nick Young will hit like 6-8 threes.
And it takes 18 seconds out of a 24 second shot clock just to get that switch. Itll be nice to have a weaker primary defender
It's a bigger loss than some will assume because of GSW's lack of depth at wing. Their rotation will probably look like this: Curry / Livingston Thompson / Young Durant Green Looney / West They might choose to stay small by starting Young rather than Looney, but that does 2 things: it means GSW is playing 2 weak defenders vs our starters (Curry and Young) and leaves them devoid of wings coming off the bench. If I were them, I would start Looney and rely on Curry, Thompson and Durant to generate enough offense. It also gives you some shooting coming off the bench.
Was always pretty sure he would suit up, this falls in line with that. It will likely become a “game-time decision” in the next few hours and then around 7ish they will announce he is going to play.
