You see emails between Trump campaign and people talking about official Russian support for Trump including documents. What Trump, Nunes, and I see is a big nothing burger. No collusion!

And if there was collusion it was an illegal framing incident. And if it wasn't that, then who cares because nobody's really innocent.

 

"The trigger was Flynn sitting at same table w Putin at Dec 2015 Moscow event." Of course they don't mean that. They mean the FBI had some ulterior motive for wanting to go after Flynn and that sitting with Putin was an excuse to do so. And that the ulterior motive was something illegitimate. By this time though Flynn had already served in and was fired by the Obama Admin, so they might have known perfectly legitimate suspicious stuff about him.

I suppose it would be technically illegal for Russian nationals to campaign for Trump among Russian-Americans. Its not very interesting because the Russian-American vote can't swing anything. And saying 'yeah, sure, do whatever' to an ineffectual goodwill gesture is pretty minor on the conspiracy scale.

 

President Obama did warn then President-Elect Trump to stay away from Flynn. Acting AG Yates also warned the White House to Flynn.

It's very possible Flynn was the target of a CI investigation that had nothing to do with Trump and multiple people tried to warn him to stay away from the man.

I would say probable. The guy's history looks dirty before he ever got involved with Two Scoops.

DoJ/FBI to WaPo/NYT: "here's everything you need to know about the guy we used to spy on Trump's campaign, report everything about him but his name. Then we can act outraged/scandalized when people figure out/publish his name"

NYT/WaPo: "sure, whatever you need, we'll write it up however you want"
