Listening/reading stuff from the voters that voted Westbrook last year.....man they get their ass up on their shoulders when you bring up why the voted Westbrook. They don't like being called out on it. They really downplay the triple double thing and just bring up the "clutch" thing. So yeah, Westbrook saved his 6th seeded team from losing to lottery teams. Big whoop. Maybe if you were the MVP you wouldn't need to "save yourself" against lottery teams to begin with. (this factor never gets talked about).
Cause, he is still considered to be the King. There is no way that either he or Davis deserve the award over Harden.
