    How about when defender tried to sit in Hardens lap over and over and Harden gets a foul for what? Returning contact?

    There were some very questionable calls last game, especially that huge flop Curry had on GG, but the refs let us be pretty physical most of the game.

    We are much tougher and stronger than their team and we’re going to need that kind of “leniency” if we’re going to try and keep their crowd relatively quiet at the Oracle.

    I agree, but I like this narrative the Rockets are being physical and beating up players. It pretty much clashes with the Rockets are too soft narrative the media has already baked in.

    Darn right. There was a stretch in game 1 where he hit the floor 4 (FOUR!) consecutive times on defense, trying to draw the foul. I think it made Manu Ginobili blush.

    Fair enough, but I still don't understand how teams don't go at Steph and Draymond like... ALL THE TIME, considering what those guys get away with in reverse.

    Conspiracy theory alert

    I think SAS is putting the physicality narrative out there to give the refs a nod to call the game tighter game 3. The networks want a great series but ultimately needs GS in the finals for ratings. Don't be surprised when PJ or Ariza pick up 3 first half fouls by breathing on Curry or KD. The refs will try to control the series moving forward
