I think if you look at the real situation, you need to go in to Oracle Arena and suck the life right out of that crowd exactly like the rockets did in Utah. That crowd never got the chance. What will it take to do it again. I think Game 3 the rockets will have to bring there guns loaded....
well we already know u don’t think they can do that... and no, game 3 isn’t a must-win...all they have to do is get the split
Game 3: Must win scenario? Absolutely false. Would be really nice and super cool win scenario? Yes for sure.
agreed partially...while it isnt a must win...I think the Rockets need to play their best basketball in game 3. Period. You know the Warriors are gonna bring it, and if we do to...we could just get a few lucky bounces to fall our way...
3 out of the next 5 are must wins. In any order. Even though the Rockets are the higher seed, it would be an upset if we win. But we are good enough to pull it off. Focus on one game at a time. Improve on what we need to improve and be ready for the adjustments that they are surely going to make.
I agree with that...they definitely gotta bring their A game in game 3 if they happen to lose, I’m not gonna panic tho...we know the Rockets are resilient and can bounce back get 1 of the next 2 and we’re good
Personally, I feel the 3rd game of a 7 game series is the most pivotal. Because the first two games can be working out jitters and major adjustments. Rest of the series tend to be refinement, minor adjustments, and a bit of greater luck.
all the games are must win from here on out. realistically we just need a split to take back HCA. going home 2-2 with games 5 and 7 at home would be great!
• Teams that win Game 3 of a 1-1 best-of-seven series go on to win the series 71.8% of the time (102-40). (Since 1984) I didnt say game 3’s are must win. I said game 3’s can be pivotal. http://www.nba.com/article/2018/04/...le-numbers-first-round-series-playoff-history
Game 5, especially in a 2-2 series, is usually the most pivotal. The team that wins Game 5 in those scenarios usually wins the series over 80% of the time.
Yes, it's pivotal. However, the Rockets must not approach the outcome as a disaster if they lose it. Give 100 percent effort, and play smart.
