Realistically, the best thing we could've done to foil the Warriors this year was convince Iggy to sign with us. It would've been a culture disrupting move for them. Morey was apparently close, but no cigar.

Now that he's starting and is part of their new death lineup, that hurts in retrospect to not be able to nab him away.

No, the 0-2 start and gigantic blown leads took place against the Suns in 1994. This led to the "Choke City" headline before Our Lord and Savior Hakeem Olajuwon made us Clutch City. On the heels of the Denver, Bufallo and Kansas City Oilers losses *and* the history of Astros misery (Phillies, Mets), the Rockets blowing these games felt a million times worse than this. Believe me.

We switch everything. They can more or less get whoever the hell they want to guard them at any point. Did you see Nene on Durant and Curry several times in just the 5 mins he played? We got lucky and they didn't make most of their shots on those switches, but they got whatever they wanted.

Iggy means no PJ Tucker. PJ has been really important for the team.

I still believe, we lost game 1 so what, we are the best road team in the NBA, we have to make adjustment and stop playing iso-ball, if we win game 2 we still in the series

Wouldn't have done ****. Kevin Durant, Thompson, Green, and Curry is all they need.

Tucker has been good for us, but getting Iggy would've been a double whammy. You take away an elite role player from them and bring it to us. The subtraction of Iggy from the Warriors would've been the most important part of signing him.

Yeah, James has been terrific on offense but his defense was subpar tonight.

We just need to win game 2.

All the talk about how we don't have HCA anymore is BS.

As long as we can close out the series at home, we have HCA, we win game 2 we at least ensure another game at home, that's all we need to do. Fight, battle, scrap, and hope the Warriors have a bad game here and there.

If Rockets lose this series, why watch next season? Unless we get Lebron...

I mean harden abused curry as much as Durant abused everyone else.

Houston needs to Start slipping screens immediately.

Take a page out of Utah’s book.

Exactly right. Why watch? I'm done until the Warriors retire.

True. But the Rockets went down 0-2 and 1-3 against the Suns in 95 as well, and it looked pretty hopeless at the time. Being the defending champs made it a bit less painful in 95, I suppose.

Yes, in the long run, signing a 34 yr old is not the solution, there is no guarantee how much time Iggy got left or if he is a much better fit here than in Golden State.

There is no future with him in the next 2 years. Boston will still rise, the Sixers, Golden State will find ways to get another past Allstar......

If Iggy means championship, sign him, but if it's just a Finals appearance, nope.

We had HCA in 94, lost b2b 20pt leads. Then the next year we lost the first 2 on the road.

Another thing i liked seeing was Harden scoring when moving without the ball. Need more of that
