I think we definitely could beat that 73-9 GS team, but after adding KD, u have to play a perfect game to beat them

he carried them for much of the game, and there was nothing we could do to stop him

when u watch him live, it becomes so apparent just how impossible it is to bother his shot...he rises up and it’s like he doesn’t even see the defender

All you have to do is look at the talent on GSW. Our role players need to do better but other than that they are basically an allstar team.

yeah chuck saying the rockets don't exploit mismatches was pretty hilarious. and that we should post up clint because he has a mismatch. bigs without post up skills trying to post up "mismatches" has a long and storied history of not working out in the playoffs. and whatever kenny says usually isn't very smart (a shudder every time i think about him interviewing to be our coach).

the rockets need to stop iso'ing? and do what? the warriors switch everything. it's the entire point of switching, to force iso's. if anything we built our team exactly like you would want to take advantage of it. it's just, chris isn't elite enough at iso's against the warriors length the way durant is at posting up our switches or curry is taking our off the dribble (or at least consuming so much attention it doesn't even matter if he is playing well). i didn't wanna tell clutchfans before the series, but we're not going to win. there's a reason everyone was mad when an mvp joined a 73 win team and thought it was "the hardest road."

EG was pretty great after the All-Star break.. He has sucked in the Playoffs.

    Time to start Ryno.

One point from PJ Tucker ain’t gonna cut it.

Harden has to stay on Nick Young.

Tucker let KD get hot. Moute or Ariza shouldve been on him. Cp3 can hold his own with Curry. They have no center, Harden attack mode

golden state was 15/17 in the restricted area? that's 88%. lebron shoots like 78%. if they do that on a night where kd is draining everything, you probably aren't going to win.

    PJ Tucker: 35 mins, 0-3, 1 point
Luc Mbah Moute: 17 mins, 0-6, 0 points

    That is piss poor production

The funny thing is if Lebron went F you to the Warriors and came here on vet min and we'd play the EXACT same way they would not be saying the same things they are saying now.

They just go with the narrative regardless of how the game turned out. They don't look at all the easy buckets missed or that no one else really helped out Harden and CP3...just simply...Rockets ISO ball, Warriors motion offense team ball..

But if Durant had a bad shooting game we simply win this game regardless. Durant scored almost exclusively on ISO ball but it's okay when they do it.

This loss is pretty demoralizing imo, not because we necessarily played bad but because it just reassured what all of our worst fear was. That we aren’t good enough. Harden practically played a perfect game, Paul cancelled out Curry, and we still loss. What was supposed to be our only strength against GS, was our weakness... the bench was absolute garbage. No excuse for Luc and Gordon to play like that. I know there’s more games, but it just got harder for us than it already was, homecourt is irrelevant against the Warriors, but it is relevant for us. Winning in Oracle will be nearly impossible, this isn’t the regular season, we aren’t playing a coasting Warriors team.

I mean I hope Lebron or PG make a conscious decision to come here, unless they want to see the Warriors win in all possibly for the next 5 yrs.

To the old timers here, is this what 95 felt like against the Suns before the comeback?

Why was Harden on Durant so much? Durant plays a lot of ISO, so it makes no sense to tire our only true offensive threat on defense.

Curry, Durant and Thompson share of total shots (75%,60 of 80) was the highest in a game since the trio has been Warriors teammates.
    why agains us????
