ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 5/14/2018 (Western Conference Finals, Game 1)

It would really be awesome if they talked about something good the Rockets did for a change,

 

I hear you. It's frustrating to see a wide open look after a defender leaves his man.

 

Our starters beat their starters (aka the Hamptons gays) and their bench beat our bench.

Our bench absolutely has to win their matchup. Green played decent. Ryan played decent. But you can’t play both together, it ruins the integrity of our defense.

We need to win that 3-4 minutes at the beginning of the 4th of the bench matchups and also be tied, better or close with the starters.

Also, b4 you attacke about the “gay” comment, suck my dick, I mean it in jest. I support gay rights strongly

 

The only mismatch Barkley understands is big guy on little guy. Saying the rockets haven’t exploited mismatches is a turrible take

I’m actually hoping for a hard fought victory tonight rather than a blowout so the Worriers are lulled into complacency thinking Game 2 will be easy.

We are doomed. Tied game and Tony Brothers hasn’t even scored for the Warriors yet.

 

I think they just don't have the chemistry for that, there's a clear and huge difference with how Capela and James play together, they can basically find themselves with closed eyes, Chris had the same kind of thing going on with DeAndre, not sure why with Clint is not there, maybe they'll work on it, i hope so, that would help us.

 

We all know GS is gonna come out in the 2nd half & make a run, we need to get better looks on offense, way too many wasted late shot clock last sec. heaves. Defense has been pretty solid so far.. Durant is Durant, he's unstoppable one on one, we need to keep Curry & Klay in check

 

Chuck just said that Rockets aren't taking advantage of mismatches. Harden and CP going at Curry and Looney relentlessly!

Saying GSW taking advantage of the mismatches with KD.. EVERYONE IS A MISMATCH FOR KD!

 

I am glad he is making them now so that he keeps shooting them in crunch time

 

Golden State shot 8% higher in the first half and the game is tied. If they come back to earth in the second half Houston will destroy them.

 

Luc played the best D on Durant so far. Durant still made it but Lucs long arms still contested it very well. Luc has to be the go to defender on him.

 

I knew Chuck was a moron...but to openly say after watching that half "The thing I like about Golden State is they are taking advantage of mismatches...the Rockets don't do that."

......really.....really?

We only spent the entire half forcing their big to guard Harden and Paul....

So... Paul on Durant is a huge mismatch...but Looney on Harden is not taking advantage?

 

Actually the score is the absolute most important thing in a game. It’s what determines who wins or loses. As long as we’re on top at the end I don’t care how we get there.

 

Lol, Barkley just said "Houston doesn't take advantage of mismatches, Warriors take advantage of mismatches". Like is he watching the game?
