That said, I would expect people to hold the FBI and DOJ to a higher standard than random elected officials....the people are morons and they'll elect just anyone, the DOJ and FBI should have higher standards.

Seriously, all this from a right-wing op-ed from a trump supporter who asks *if* the FBI placed someone based on Devin Nunes. Even *if* the FBI was able to place a "mole" in the trump campaign (no where has this been proven) and that person uncovered illegal activities... is there something wrong? Does law enforcement ever do this (putting someone inside the group being investigated)? Perhaps trump and his campaign not doing treasonous acts would have been the correct thing?

If the Hillary Clinton admin had a whistle blower who leaked self dealings with Iran that went against the interests of the United States wouid you mr Patriot Commodore, Booby, Tallv, etc. be calling for heads to roll in the DOJ and the FBI protecting the source inside the Clinton admin???

Please tell me about how you’d react if the shoe was on the other foot. The FBI and the DOJ are supposed be independent and oversee our governments activities to make sure we uphold the rule of law. If they send in moles to uncover just personal stuff that is embarrassing with no connection to preserving American interests and the rule of law fine, that’s not good and their spying should be called out.

If what comes out of leaks and whistle blowing sources exposes things like.... well finding out that half a million dollars from a Russian Oligarch went to a shell company account of the personal attorney of the president of the United States.... that’s absolutely shedding light on AMERICAN INTERESTS.

So give it a rest unless you can sit here and say you’d want heads to roll in the FBI if this was the Clinton administration that was being exposed. Maybe just ask your beloved Donald to clean up his administration and stop doing crap that needs to be leaked about to preserve some semblance of a government that is working for American Interests instead of the personal self dealings of the Trump swamp.

After this resolves and it’s proven that something was done that is illegal. There should probably be repercussions. At this point there really does seem to be evidence that heads will roll and there will be many indictments revolving around Trump’s campaign.

What I’m saying if something was done illegally, take care of it. Otherwise everyone needs to please be quiet.

If nothing results from this investigation I would be floored at this point.

The only presidential candidate that we know committed any crimes was Hillary....and the FBI decided to let her off the hook. As of right now there's no evidence that Trump did anything illegal, that's just you talking about things you wish were true more so than anything else.

Grassley asked for information related to Flynn investigation over a year ago and DoJ blew him off with the usual "ongoing investigation" excuse.

Well now Flynn has pled guilty and investigation is over, and Grassley is back at it.

Just want to bump this thread to say even with the shitstorm he started in the Middle East, the flap in Iran, the Korea stuff, the Michael Cohen scandal, and everything else, I still haven't forgotten that Trump is potentially in bed with a foreign adversary and I still want a full reckoning.
