Yah i dont see rockets closing out a series in oracle. I also dont see gsw closing us out in a game 5 in toyota center, im still shocked that lots of media are predicting that. I think even a 4 game sweep is slightly more likely than gsw closing us in 5 If gsw wins then it will be game 6 at home or game 7 at toyota center imo. My prediction for the series is rockets in 7.
It’s gonna be funny if we do beat them how you guys officially say they’re all idiots because they picked the most talented team ever to beat us. Anyways, rockets in 6, let’s end this s*** in oracle and I hope some of those fake laker fans who are “#dubnation” are front and center to witness it
If the Rockets win the title, then Greenie is wrong. This will become the best rivalry in years and the narrative in the NBA will change overnight from “Golden State can’t be beat” to “Houston v. Golden State is a rivalry for the ages...”
Are these analytics projections including the poor numbers put up by golden state to close the season while curry and others were out? Not that I don't think we win just that maybe these percentages would be more 50/50. If they are in fact taken into account then DAMN GINA!
Most of them have the Warriors winning in a long series. I see nothing wrong with that prediction as it’s the most logical from an unbiased perspective. But the media was going around telling Golden State they were the underdogs which is clearly not true.
I've read a lot of Warriors in five. That's so disrespectful. Yet, all the stories are like they are the underdogs.. I dont get it.
My head (logical) says Warriors in 7. My gut says Rockets in 5-7 games. In 2016 my head said Clinton wins...my gut always said Trump, even when the pundits said Clinton had it won the night before the election. So, I'm leaning with my gut...Rockets move on to the Finals.
Honestly, these predictions seem quite fair. 91% have the series going at least 6 games, and between all 22 analysts, total wins are 85 to 54 in favor of GS. So on average, that's 3.87 for GS and 2.45 for HOU, or essentially "Warriors in 6½". Considering the Warriors are so stacked that many people believe they shouldn't even be allowed to exist, I don't see how that can be considered anything but a compliment to the Rockets.
And the Raptors would have won if they didn’t defeat themselves mentally. After having the big lead and losing it late, it messed with their minds. They never recovered, they doubted themselves, and it sealed it for them.
Its the Rockets series to win. They need to stop playing and punch them in the mouth. The warriors are great when they dominate the style. But Lebron James showed how you must beat them and thats getting them talking being chippy challenging and bumping them. If the Rockets play into the Warriors pretty boy games they will lose huge. The Rockets need to give them a bloody nose no matter if they have to take a few hard fouls(especially in the 3rd quarter). The time to break the warriors is to hit em hard in the 3 rd quarter. The 3rd quarters have to be nasty slow sluggish no rythym played quarters for the Rockets to control the game. However every 1st quarter they must do what they do best.
This whole thing reminds me of Rocky 2 The warriors are like Apollo Creed and the Rockets are like Balboa. What defeated Creed is he thru everything at Rocky but he couldnt Knock him out. The Warriors like to demoralize teams where they give up before the final buzzer. You could see it with series with the Spurs. The Spurs could have beat them with the style they were playing if they had the fire power.
Greenberg is a 100% right. The Rockets are a championship level team but the Warriors are a all time great team.
