CP3 walking into this WCF like:

 

Bought tickets for Game 1 and am hyped for Monday. I hope it's loud.

 

Pretty sad that we have to hope that game 1 of the WCF against the defending champions will be loud.

 

Man, I looked up tickets for the 1st game, cheapest they had was $160 on the actual Toyota Center website. 2nd game were sold out. Crowd better be loud af.

 

Yeah I was disappointed with prices but I said I can't miss the first game so I bought in. I hope it's as loud as the first half of them going for 23 wins against Celtics. Best half of a game I've ever heard......then second half collapse happened and it was like a library.

The winning streak run. Missed out on game 22 because I thought 80 dollars for tickets were too expensive. High school kid with a girlfriend and limited funds make you make awful decisions. But I had bought tickets for the Celtics in the beginning of the season so when I went it was hyped in the arena. Really loud for every possession. Then they collapsed and ended up losing by like 20 I think.

Kidding aside, the Rockets are atop the rankings for PNR ball handler field goal attempts in the playoffs by a wide margin, and they'll be running a ridiculous amount of PNR with Clint Capela setting high ball screens for James Harden and Chris Paul to set up the O. Additionally, Curry said he was looking forward to the Rockets trying to switch him on CP3 and Harden. Is it Monday yet?​

 

I really don't get this, especially the bold part, why there has to be a referendum on James if he's not great (so, if the Rockets don't win) in this series? I mean, i understand what he's saying but i find it really exagerated..."people will hold this against him bla bla"...and what about all the players that chocked for years?

Chris Paul has been considered by everyone around the league a great leader, hall of famer etc...and until he got the chance to play with James he never made it out of the second round.

Wesbrook couldn't do **** without other two stars playing with him and got embarassed two consecutive times in the first round, one of them while he was the MVP.

Wade without the best center in last 20 years or Lebron (and Bosh) couldn't do **** by himself.

Durant is "best player after Lebron" and went to best team ever to win something.

All this guys didn't have to beat a team with 4 stars in the starting 5, and suddenly, if Harden doesn't get the job done he's going to be a fail for the rest of his career? Meh...

It'll be interesting to see if/when they go to a hack-a-capela, and how we respond. As much as capela's improved, his playoff FT % is porous and he has not shot particularly well from the line.
