Of course its warranted. But what Chuck is saying is correct, too. If because of that there's a fractured head coach - best player relationship, there's no way to win a championship. Look at the Rockets when Harden finally had enough of McHale's "play harder".
It's because Shaq is on the show that I have not watched nearly as much. And I like Shaq, but like Chuck better. At the same time, Shaq makes too much of antagonizing Chuck for the sake of I guess making himself feel better or giving himself validation. That being said, they both have points and if Shaq had simply waited his turn, he could have easily gotten his point of view across the same as Chuck. No one said any of them have to agree on anything, but over talking him and then saying "I have 3 finals MVPs" doesn't automatically validate your point and then invalidate the others. The fact of the matter is, if Dwayne Casey doesn't fix his relationship and it comes down to an ownership decision of the coach or the player, unless your name is Popovich, we know how this will end.
Shaq mumbles and just bores you to death when he give his analysis, i can deal with that as most former players suck at it. When he gets in his attention whoring mood, he just acts like a clown/spoiled frat boy and thinks he's the funniest person in the room and laughs the loudest at his own jokes or actions and he wont drop it and move on. That makes me cringe. Worst of all though? Has to be his thin skin and how he takes offense to everything and how he puts himself into every conversation and you can see as he sits quietly pouting like a child afterward. Overall, he's been ruining that show since he joined. I'd rather watch Bill Walton giving outrageous stories and completely random player comparisons and recollections - the John Madden of the NBA. I miss him. I think Reggie isn't as bad as everyone says at calling the games, but i think he'd be better at pre and post game shows and his personality would fit with Ernie, Chuck and Kenny. ***I sincerely hope Nash quits the whole player coach thing and decides to go into broadcasting and TNT fires Shaq and hires Nash. Nash is actually very funny and loveable and the MVP jokes can go on while Shaq watches from home tweeting @TNT.
Ever since Shaq started on that show, I stopped watching the halftime and post game show. While Chuck doesn't make very accurate statements, he is at least a good sport about being made fun or even saying stupid stuff. Shaq adds nothing basketball wise, and frankly takes away from any useful discussion that is going on. Either he is mumbling something stupid or just getting butthurt about something Chuck or Kenny said. It's truly unbearable and I can't believe TNT actually airs this stuff.
Shaq doesn't know who Bledsoe is cuz he is a Cowboys fan? Didnt Bledsoes injury spark the Romo era in Dallas? Lol at this Chuck Draymond beef. He really does have a punchable personality.
Damn, you guys fell for Shaq and Chuck again! It's entertainment! Always saying stupid stuff to get attention. Drew Bledose outted Shaq by showing a photo of them together 2 years ago and Chuck said you guys are really stupid to believe anything we say is serious
Yah he came back and said he was pranking America...good prank Shaq you made us think you actually meant that stupid thing. Keep us on our toes. Now we know there might be some intentional face palms moments...
That could be true, and it wouldn't make Barkley wrong. If the coach and the best player don't have a good relationship, it won't work. Too toxic, and ultimately one will be gone.
Barkley and Kenny argue and make it fun. Barkley and Shaq argue, and Shaq starts taking things personal and ruins it. Could have been a good basketball discussion. Could have been funny. Instead Shaq made sure it was just uncomfortable. TNT coverage was unwatchable without Ernie.
It boggles the mind how THIN SKINNED Shaq is. Someone that is that big and that accomplished could easily be self deprecating and humble. Instead he is thin skinned and a bully. He loves to dish out jokes but can't take them. Imagine Shaq was the one that was "Shaq-tin the fool" and people were laughing at him. Shaq doesn't get enough criticism for his personality trait.
Its easy to see why him and Kobe didn't get along. Shaq is a jovial A-Hole. Kobe is a serious A-Hole.
No worse than most conversations \arguments on here. Sort of hypocritical to criticize them on this board of all boards where people like donknock vlaureio and hp3 make lists of haters because they disagree with their opinions. Other than that I feel like Charles was an overall better player than shaq he had more skill. If he had a wade or kobe he would have a ring.
