What's happening with our MVP? He seems tired, without rythim...why? He can't be tired! Come on, he rested in the last month of regular season...he is playing the lowest minutage in his 5 seasons here in Houston...he has another superstars that helps him to carry the offense of the team...you CAN'T be tired James! In game 4 and 5 against the Jazz, he seemed tired...he was not fast as usual...the same happened in the game 5 of the West Finals (2015, 13 TO.......), or last year in game 6 vs Spurs...for example in Game 2 vs Minnesota (2/18 shooting) he was not tired, but he was "only" missing shots that usually he makes. What do you think guys?
Let's say it's a potential 7 game series, if he only shows up in 3 or 4 of 7 then I think it is time to be 'worried'. GSW series is all it matters.
That's why I said potentially. It could go 6 or 7. The media would love for it to go the distance. Either team gets hot and takes it 4-1.....
I’d say let’s allow James to carry us to crunch time. From there let Cp3 drag us to the finals. Same recipe as the Jazz series.
I hope that, i am only saying that i am worried about him...we need him. In these last 2 games he seemed tired, don't know why. I don't think he was just managing the energies. We can't beat the Warriors without the best Harden and i am watching a bad James Harden in this series (except for game 1) That's what i am saying
he was playing well in game 4 until the 4th quarter where he was a disaster, I’m not sure why things turned so drastically for the worst in that game but oh well CP3 said that Harden was sick during game 5 and Harden said that he would use this break before the WCF to get his body right and get his energy level up so we’ll see what happens...Harden has started both series in these playoffs on fire dropping 40+ in both game 1’s
Yeah i heard that James was "under the weather", like CP said in the postgame interview. Hope was only that He started very good, but he has to keep the fire in the entire series...
He has had 3-4 good games in these playoffs judged by his standards. It is what it is I have always said that I expect James Harden to take us through the regular season, but CP3 will have to step up and be the main contributor in the playoffs. CP3 just has that IT factor when it comes to playoff basketball good thing is that Capela has been our best player these playoffs
from the other thread, some guy said Gerald Green told him it was lung/respiratory infection which kinda makes sense given his past history with Asthma.
His shot isn't going down, but let's not be too concerned. He's averaged approx 28/7/5/2stls for both series. Amongst remaining players he's second in scoring, third in assists and first in steals (Could be wrong on one of those). He's playing the game at his own pace, and had moments where he's completely seized control of the game. His pick pocket of Mitchell, and a strip later on were huge plays. I'd love it if his shot was falling...and it will need to against GSW. I just get the feeling that people want him to drop 40 each game and that's not going to happen. BTW can we just stop and marvel at this sequence from Harden? He cut through four defenders at top speed and still found Nene under the hoop. All Harden needs to do is enough. Our shooters need to make shots and ultimately, our defense will win it.
He wasn't much better than the Game 6 Spurs version of him, but that's why we got CP3. It's nice for Morey to be so validated at the best possible time.
Guys i'm from Italy, what do you mean with "under the weather"? You mean just sick or something more specifical?
