That was a very hard shot. He was in the air going forward and be banked the shot in. You prob should double him so he doesn't get the ball, but that is not a high percentage shot.
Yeah, they should have doubled him right there at the inbound. Make them pass to someone else. Even if LeBron could get the ball back afterward, it would waste them a few precious seconds to bring it up court. You take you chances playing 2 on 3 at the other end of the floor if they try a long pass out. Anything but letting LeBron rush up the court with the ball. It the Cavs chose to inbound from mid court, that would be a different story. It was pretty obvious what they wanted to do when they started from the base line.
Qft. All the toronto "they're a different" team backers are pretty quiet Also the out of bounds play to get it to van fleet when they had 5 seconds on the shot clock was one of the dumbest plays I've ever seen. Perfect example of why Lowry and dd aren't players who you can win with at the highest level
Why end it prematurely? The Raptors were terrible before this group, and will probably be terrible again if they break it up. At least they’re in the playoffs every year. They could tank, but are just as likely to get another Andrea Bargnani as the next Vince Carter.
When have you ever seen a player make a shot like that in the NBA? I'm sure it's happened a few times, but I can't recall off the top of my head. That was an insanely difficult shot. The Raptors backcourt defense was bad, but trying to minimize the difficulty of the shot is ludicrous.
Just brutal for the Raptors and their fans. It is like lets try to find a new way to be tortured. I know there will be Raptor "blow it up" talk, but I have to wonder.....if Casey will be in trouble. I mean, if you are getting tactically out coached by Ty Lue, that is something. Raptors might be better served making a coaching change then doing anything drastic.
Lol some of the LeBron haters in here are one more game winner away from drinking bleach like the LeBronto fans.
This must be a nightmare for the Raptors...Cavs were very close to being the 3rd seed too...it came down to the last Philly match up in the regular season that went down to a missed free throw that Lebron missed..****...maybe Lebron missed it on purpose and foresaw this?
