you can't possibly be this stupid.

btw, not only are you ignorant of the facts, ur also ignorant of the Trumpetteers' latest talking point that

It’s like he doesn’t know that there is a party in Ukraine that is essentially an arm of the Russian government or he knows and is trying to spread misinformation on purpose.

His connections from a decade ago are not a crime. The 'crime' is basic bank fraud for the purpose of evading some taxes since he didn't report the money. This has absolutely nothing to do with Russia or Trump.

    no we don't.

this is not obstruction of justice.

First off nobody knows Mueller's directive except the DOJ. That's the judge's point and why he's complaining about 'unfettered power'. Nobody knows the scope of the investigation. Second, Mueller didn't find anything on Manafort. Another FBI investigation that started long before Mueller found Manafort hiding money a decade ago. Mueller took this investigation from them and used it to ransack Manafort's home in the hope of finding something (anything) on Trump. He hasn't found anything. If you would of listened to the court case, you would know all this. The judge wants to know why Mueller's team has the authority to prosecute over something that has nothing to do with Russia/Trump collusion but instead decade old tax evasion.

Those indictments don't really mean what you think they mean.....but then again, I don't think that you not knowing what you are talking about would surprise that many people.

Anyway, keep hope alive that at some point in the future some actual evidence will come to light proving what you already desperately hope to be the case. I mean, imagine if there was anywhere near the amount of evidence that there is proving that Hillary Clinton committed crimes while Secretary of state that suggested or proved that Trump committed literally any crime....Imagine that world.

It’s amazing that even Trump himself will publicly admit something but his cult followers are so in deep they will make up their own facts about Trump.

Trump gives them the ammo to do this though. Like renaming obstruction “fighting back”. You don’t like reality ... just make up a new reality that feels and sounds better.

We know that Trump is openly trying to impead an investigation. He does it every day and does it openly. What I’ve said and will continue to say is whether Mueller and the DOJ find his obstruction tactics prosecutable.

I don’t care about the politics of Trumps actions here because they don’t matter to voters like Hillary’s actions or any other poltical leaders actions did. Trumps cult will never allow it to make a difference. Unfortunately at this point we only have what is or isn’t prosecuted as a crime in the Trump era.

And that’s unfortunate that we’ve sank that low in holding accountable the leadership in this country.

Calling out an investigator is not obstruction of justice. You don't know what that means.

lol wut. You really don't understand any of this, do you?

Your argument that investigators can't investigate crimes is a poor one.

It's time to start getting on the right side of history on this one.

What is openly admitting that you fired the lead prosecutor in a case you are involved in because of the investigation?

Sorry... you can write your own reality here and believe whatever Trump tells YOU but you cannot rewrite other people’s reality and knowledge of the facts that we can see right there in our faces.

This does not state the scope of Mueller's investigation. If you had listened to the court case, you would know this. To quote Mueller's team in court 'The specifics of the investigation were conveyed to us not on the face of the May 17th order but in the interaction with the acting attorney general'. Mueller's team argues that the scope of the investigation was stated by Rosenstien during a private meeting. HEre is the judge requesting the memo from said meeting. Mueller's team argues they shouldn't have to present this information. Literally no side of this debate agrees with your position.

If you didn't listen to any part of the trial then why would you act so smug? If you had, then you would know that even Mueller's team recognizes that May 17th memo is not sufficient authority to prosecute Manafort for decade old bank fraud that has nothing to do with Russia/Trump. That's why they are claiming they have a greater 'unknown' scope given to them in a private meeting.

It seems you don't know what a prosecutor is....either that or you need to tell me what "lead prosecutor" got fired. I mean I'm guessing you are talking about Comey....but he's not a prosecutor so hopefully you have something else.

You crazy kids just live in an alternate universe it seems.

Being that it's an investigation into Trump obstruction of justice and collusion, of course it's related and it does have something to do with it.

Hint: prosecutor don't show all their cards, especially to someone as powerful and corrupt as Trump.

Advice: Stop with the assumption, wishful thinking and dismissal. Wait and see.

Side note: GOP Congress would go much further than an independent prosecutor into Clinton and they did. 4 years. Would you rather a DEM Congress investigating Trump or an independent prosecutor? You don't need to answer.

There's really no difference. You have a guy looking to get revenge on Trump for firing his friend and he'll stop at nothing to find something, anything, that he can use to go after him with. So far he's been completely unsuccessful, but he was hoping that if he could find any excuse to go after those around Trump that they would come up with something against Trump in a plea bargain. That's really no different than if Democrats in Congress were running the investigation. Instead of a political witch hunt, it's a personal one.

Which part, in your mind, is contentious? Just saying "nuh uh" isn't very convincing.

You are trying to manipulate the words scope/directive and pin it to an argument in the back and forth with the judge. That is all irrelevant and another fruitless attempt to muddy the waters.

It really is as simple as I stated before:

Mueller's directive is to investigate any collusion related crimes and anything they find illegal while looking at collusion.

They were looking at collusion by looking into Manafort's Ukrainian activities and found a different crime.

If you take issue with the word directive and scope, you can replace it with 100 other words with similar meaning.

Its literally the legal position taken by Mueller's team. They say their authority for the manafort case comes from the August 2nd private meeting. The judge then demanded the memo from said meeting because he doesn't think Mueller's team should have 'unfettered power' . He recognizes how weird it is for Mueller's team to be trying someone for something a decade old that has nothing to do with Trump or Russia. You don't need a legal degree to understand the arguments being made.

The judge responded to your claim. Manafort's 'crimes' did not come from Mueller's investigation. Again go read the court case, The bank fraud was found by an investigation long before Mueller's special counsol existed.

Again, Mueller's team, Manafort's team, and the judge all disagree with you. They all claim the scope of Mueller's investigation is established in an August 2nd private meeting.

Let me make it easy for you.

    Judge is arguing to argue.

Clearly says twice, hey just say its a broad subject and everything is included and we are fine.

Again, comes back to two very simple statements:

Mueller's directive is to investigate any collusion related crimes and anything they find illegal while looking at collusion.

They were looking at collusion by looking into Manafort's Ukrainian activities and found a different crime.

This is just factually false and not even close really. Mueller did not find Manafort's bank fraud. Its from an entirely different investigation before Mueller's investigation. I've already explained this to you and so has the judge and Mueller's team.

And again you don't know Mueller's directive. Nobody does according to Mueller's team. This isn;t an opinion, it the stated legal position of Mueller's team. That's why the judge asked for the August 2nd memo. So he can understand their directive.
