First Rockets need to beat Utah before focusing on anything else!!

But lets just keep it simple - Get 1 - one game at a time - The Rockets get started with that than will be moving in the Right direction. I love being the underdog - they have been waiting for this all year - the time is now!

 

So when we beat them, they will say we won’t beat the 96 bulls? We must win the first 2 at home.

 

If the media had legitimate points on why they think GS will beat us, I'd respect that. But all their points seem incorrect, outdated & just plain out lazy.

-Golden State isn't playing seriously yet, wait till they start really playing

- The Rockets don't play defense (they should actually watch us play)

-All we do is shoot 3's and can't win if we're not hitting

-James Harden is a choker

-CP is injury prone


First off, Harden doesn't need to score 40pts anymore for us to win. Second, our defense is just as good as GS. We can match up with them better than anybody going small. The biggest matchup nobody's talking about is Draymond vs PJ. Can PJ hold his own against Draymond? I think so. I also take my chances with Luc & Trevor slowing down KD. Our SYSTEM is point friendly meaning we will score points, but I think we're best suited to give GS fits. It'll be GS hardest match up ever

There's a reason why the only national guys I'll listen to are Nate Duncan and Jared Greenberg. Everybody else is a hot take machine that's ready to burst at any moment. Just totally misinformed, and willfully ignorant.

Get Up! Is fantastic... best thing espn has done in years. I don't necessarily agree w greeny here but it's not exactly a bold opinion, GS will and should be favored this series. When healthy, they are as good as any team in NBA history. Put it another way, the chances of GS making this series uncompetitive is significantly higher than the Rockets doing so and I doubt anyone here would put real money on the latter vs the former.

So I don't know why so many here get butthurt over comments like this - if we win this series it just further cements this squad as one of the best single-season teams ever. and truth be told f we don't win but make it a competitive 6 or 7 game series that means we're (((((this))))) close to knocking them off next year.

Yeah, all those are silly. The obvious reason the Warriors are favorites is that they have 4 players better than our 2nd best player. Any commentary beyond that is a severe case of talking out the ass.

 

Thompson and Draymond are not better than CP3.

 

If we keeping shooting 3's at a sub 30% clip, the series will be over quick.

Utah doesn't have enough firepower to match us, but GS will blow us out if we shoot 10-38 like last night.

If the Warriors run us off the 3-point line, we'll be attacking the rim. Green and Durant are good shotblockers, but they're not gonna instill fear in Harden and EG like Gobert does.

We’re gonna play them like we did Portland. Switch until Curry is defending, pull him out to the 3pt line then break his ankles with 1 on 1 iso ball.

Defensively we will switch everything, but in the crunch when we need, we can put Capela on KD when he’s trying to post up and use his height to just shoot over everybody. I don’t think they’d expect that, and it definitely won’t go the same way as it did with Jrue Holiday this series. Tucker gets Draymond, CP Curry, Klay Harden, and Ariza Iggy (they stopped starting Zaza in game 4). It’s gonna be an awesome duel.

 

Random comment but no way that’s show lasts. My 8 year old is like **** no where’s sports center? That’s a problem for a show in a keybslot on their key channel.
