I just don’t understand saying anyone will always be the greatest! There was a time when I thought nobody would ever pass MJ, but then LeBron came along and passed MJ up a couple years ago...

Do you actually believe there’s nothing Harden can do to pass him? Or are just saying hakeem will always be your favorite? That I would understand. Tmac was my guy growing up. I don’t really do the “favorite player” thing anymore cause I’m the same age as most of these guys and it feels weird, but Tmac was that guy for me when I was growing up. But I would never argue that Tmac was better than Hakeem or Harden... We gotta be subjective here. Hakeem is without doubt the greatest Rocket of all time, but saying Harden can never pass him makes you a fanboy.

Tinman... This is sad, you’re making no since buddy. Did you mean, the guy who thinks TMAC is better than LEBRON? Or are you, the man who hates Tmac more than any one should hate another man, saying that he was better than LeBron in crunch time?

And I never said Harden is better than Hakeem. I said it’s stupid to say he could never pass him.

I don’t waana highjack the thread, but there is no legitimate argument against LeBron being the goat.

It may be subjective, and I'm sure at some point someone could surpass Hakeem's accomplishments. I love James Harden and what he's brought to the team. I was trying to make a point before that we can't try to compare Harden to Hakeem - what Hakeem did was surreal, but we are now witness to a different style of player. Let's see what he can do.

Fair enough. I’m nkt even predicting that he will pass Hakeem. But you’re right, what he’s done the past 4 years is absolutely incredible! You could argue he’s had a better 4 year stretch than any other gaurd in league history.

Surprise, surprise. A younger fan who thinks LeBron is the GOAT(for several years now) that also thinks everyone in the 90s was inferior and today everyone is so much more skilled and athletic. Humans are evolving so fast man! Why are old timers so blind? Forget that old timers witnessed the past AND present. What matters is that these younger fans have witnessed recent history and it's the only history that matters!

Lol wow, you know everything about me apparently!

Dude, I have literally studied past era’s my entire life. I’ve done some of my most in depth college projects (history major) on sports, specifically basketball. When I can’t sleep, I’ll watch entire games from the 80’s and 90’s, some that I still have on tape (converted to DVD). I appreciate the past era’s more than anybody! The first birthday presents I remember getting were MJ and Barkley jerseys. One of my all time favorite players is Chris ****ing Mullin! I’m just not blind! I don’t ignore facts! LeBron has half as many buzzer beaters THIS WEEK as MJ had his entire career (credit Nick Wright for that stat).

A Tmac fan would disregard any thing Hakeem has accomplished
We Rockets fans know what Hakeem did
But saying Harden is better without results

    That’s a McGrady fan
