Our bullpen is a joke. Can’t be trusted at all.

Throw away the whole bullpen and start over.

And the diamondbacks walk it off to win the World Series... scratch that a game in early May. Really, the bench needed to empty. Maybe I am guess ticked

Can’t blame this one on Hinch at all. Devo was bad and needed to be pulled. No legitimate options other than Peacock. And even he has been awful when inheriting base runners.

Will the Astros ever win a series against an above average team? Find out tomorrow.

Don't worry. We didn't need to address it.

We will just convert starters to relievers again next post-season. Because that is a traditional and reliable formula for success.

Nobody in that bullpen can be trusted in the 9th. Either give up a bunch of hits or can't find the strike zone. They became another person in the 9th

Devo was not sharp tonight. Whatcha gonna do?

eta: Devo threw 27 pitches and they swung and missed twice. And he wasn't getting corners, he got 4 called strikes. His **** is very hittable when he's throwing it over the plate.

Peacock probably shouldn't have grooved that 1st pitch.

Well in the postseason it’s really not an awful option. Not ideal, but not awful. But that means the bullpen is gonna struggle in the regular season

The sad thing is I think everyone expected to lose 4-3.

I wonder how close to .500 do we have to drift for Luhnow to do something.

Looks like we are going to need at a minimum one Beltre or better level bat and a premium closer.

I hope Tucker isn’t planning on buying a house in Houston.

No one else could be trusted in that spot who was left in the pen with the bases loaded. Devo was struggling but let him stay in and clean his own mess up. If he give it up so be it but going down with a lesser option stings more.
