Or Fisher. Nevermind, guess they had already announced Gattis.

Gattis is a total freakin waste. Dude couldn’t throw a strike and he swings at ball 3.

Morton would have been just as effective there

Gattis, Fisher, Marisnick and Gonzalez all are a waste and all are getting regular playing time. They are crippling the Astros.

There’s no reason for Gattis to be on the team. White would be 10 times better.

Morton is a better hitter than Gattis, why not let him hit for himself.....

Why on Earth would you pitch hit with Evan Gattis. I would grab a pitcher off the bench at this point.

Might have been a good time to not swing at a 2-0 pitch in your eyes there, Evan.

Marwin's at least been showing some signs of life his last 10 games or so.

Gattis has been a complete disaster. Fisher and Marisnick are even worse.

We're gonna have to add a bat, and let Marwin go back to being the utility man that only starts on occasion.

    Agreed.
The Astros already have 3-4 more loses than they would have had with average production from LF and DH.

Oh man Springer missed one there.

eta: And so did Altuve. And so did Correa on the one he decided to swing at.

The only question is, when do the Astros plan to make Gattis a future Texas Ranger

Cuz you know they'll pick him up

McHugh was secretly smiling anticipating his FIRST chance at long relief -- 35 games into the season -- due to starter dominance.

While it sucks to be underperorming (by our preposterously lofty standards) but flipping over to the Raptors/Cavs game makes me feel better.

That has to be the truest misery in sports.
