Capela is putting up All-Star numbers. He led the team in scoring in the closeout game vs Minnesota. And the Rockets are 48-5 when he, CP3, and Harden play together this season. Yes, the Rockets have a Big Three.
I think we have a big 4, including EGawd, who scored 25 big points on a win the Rockets had to have. When Gordon is scoring, it makes life so much easier for Harden and CP3. In fact, I would guess we are nearly unbeatable when he scores more than 22 points.
This is getting overblown, and that's coming from someone who has been saying for years that Capela's underrated. Don't expect this to be his new average. It might be. But don't act like you're owed something if it's not. The Warriors have the best defensive player in the game and he plays C most of the time. As long as Capela just keeps him busy, I'm happy. Thanks Clint!
I hope you're not talking about that mouth-breathing man-mule, but I think you are. Man... every single game that has happened since September has just been delaying this Rockets-Warriors series. Two more wins..
what lots of people fail to understand is Capella very coachable which is kinda rare for a center, most centers improve their rebounds/blocks/ and a couple of points. Capella has been adding offensive moves every year and this year he's added the euro step and out running opposing centers full court on fast break. He has been learning alot and he's been dominating in the playoffs against 2 of the best center in the league in Kat, Go bear, and favors.
Scary thing about Clint is that he still can get bigger and stronger. Plus Dream said the Clint still can do more then what he has shown.
In b 4 @b_holic, am I right @FTW Rockets FTW I remember when he tried to tell us that Joe Cheese was going to be the key to our playoff success. Lol.
He's already shown he's got great footwork and can make moves to the basket. I'd like to see more of that but that means him getting the ball on the low post. Not a staple in this offense (except for ISO Joe).
I voted religiously for the All-Star game. The only player I regret not throwing a bone to is Clint Capela. Granted, I told myself he was, talent-wise, 1-2 years away, and as a name, maybe twice that amount of time.
Strange, I could have sworn Utah has the best defensive player in the game, and he plays C ALL the time.
Capela has arrived. The block on Favors and Gobert back to back last night was truly incredible. He is tormenting all star caliber centers.
You really think the defensive impact he is having is easy? I get that you are probably referencing the offensive end, but you can't just plug any person in his place and expect the same results. B_holic would try to convince you that you could, but he is wrong.
