I agree. Just saying he is the bearer for the GOP, which always claim free markets are better. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.
He's for free markets but they have to be fair markets. Yes, they're antithetical ideas but that's what happens when you elect an ignorant, lying buffoon.
That does appear to be his M.O. -- whatever he himself is guilty of is what he'll accuse someone else of doing.
can you believe cheapo amazon cancelled Mozart in the Jungle? "we're going to focus on the blockbusters." Go get them, mr dennison! all he does is project.
Traitor Trump flashing another shiny object to divert his base's attention away from his kowtowing to / kissing up to his handler Putin one can infer that the other shining objects that he has already flashed, post-Helsinki, have not worked; he had repeated his attack on NFS players ordered Rudi to leak the tape about payments to the Playmate repeated his lie that the FISA warrant issue on Carter Page was based on the Steele Dossier, which it was not
I heard an interesting story on NPR this morning that I unfortunately cannot find on the internet now. But here is a link to an older story they did on the same subject. This morning's story started with an anecdote of a cheap coffee mug you can have shipped through Amazon from China for under 6 bucks all in mug and shipping, and an American competitor complaining he can't even ship across the street for less than $6. And the reason why is an agreement in the Universal Postal Union where the USPS has agreed with the postal services of other countries to deliver one another's packages the last mile. In the case of products from China, the Chinese postal service sets the price very cheap, essentially obligating the USPS to do final delivery at a loss. Great for American consumers to get cheap Chinese goods, but hard on American companies trying to compete on Amazon with Chinese companies on price. (1) Maybe this is what Trump was talking about and he's just really bad at expressing himself? Trump, of course, wants this to be about Amazon and how they're taking advantage, even though the advantage really goes to consumers. (2) This really needs to be fixed. The problem will only get bigger.
(1) No, this issue ("unfair" international fees for delivery) is completely different from the non-issue of the Amazon deal with the USPS. (2) Yes, and it would be something Amazon would be much in favor of (to demonstrate again that the two are very different).
No, just no. Trump is an idiot. I have always wondered about that though. I once bought a fidget spinner for 19 cent shipped from China. Like how is that even remotely possible? Now I know. Would be a legitimate complaint against China (of which Trump actually has several worthwhile complaints, but unfortunately he isn't the right person to handle it).
