Any motivation is fine as long as Harden uses it to win. Mayweather used money as his motivation to become arguably the best boxer ever. People might not like Mayweather as a person, his style of boxing, or his motivation, but it worked.

Cavs were always going to win this series, we're talking about the Raptors here. That they would play like this though at home is just unexpected, they're better than this. They should be able to win at least 1 game unless LeBron keeps this up. He's putting on a show.
I mean I'm not really tryna be a Harden super defender but it sounds to me like Harden never even heard this, and that it was taken care of right there and then. Either way Barnes apologized before the next game. If he didn't apologize it's one thing, but he did. Not really much to use as motivation. At least that's how I see it.
This. I said it in the LeBron thread. The "easy path" argument is just lame. He still had to beat the best WC team to win the title. The same thing about the Rockets. When we are blowing out people, they say we are the only team that can challenge the Warriors. The other teams have no chance. When we lose, they say the WC is so competitive.
I find it amusing that some here are whining about LeBron's "easy path" or whatever. The Raptors are a good team and they swept our assess in the regular season. They had the 2nd most wins in the league. Cavs got lucky the Raptors choked in game 1, but LeBron just killed them last night. When he's hitting those type of shots you might as well just give up.
