ClutchFans Game Thread: Jazz @ Rockets 5/2/2018 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 2)

The second half of game 1 which the Jazz won...the 3 days rest...the great Kobe breakdown which Mitchell said he watched twice...the ref assignments...I had a bad feeling the whole time. I didn't get this feeling at all in the Wolves series..even after the Rockets lost game 3. I was never worried.

 

Ariza and Tucker is why we have slow start.

 

the thing is we didn't really need all that hyping up tonight. We did play our hearts out in the second half and come back from a 19 point deficit. The reason we lost in the end wasn't because of effort, but tangible defensive lapses and inability to hit open 3's

 

You have to live with Crowder and Exum hitting threes.

32/27% shooters.

They can’t score enough 4/7 nights relying on those guys to hit shots.

Ingles will not shoot 10/13 again.

Chalk it up as a great win for Utah, but they aren’t beating Houston 4 times with games like tonight.

 

Yeah, I’m Clutchfans only until game time. Not going near Reddit for the next few days.

 

We have a lot of talents on this team...not sure why we lost.

Rockets should be playing well next time.

 

We dont really have a replacement for Tucker, we really need him defensively. Normally i would say Anderson but good lord, hes a just liability everywhere. I mean I kinda feel bad cause he prolly needs more shots to get it going but, hes just such a liability defensively.

 

Our offense was fine in the first quarter. We scored 28 points. That's 112 points prorated over 48 minutes. About what the Rockets have been averaging in the playoffs and a tick under what they scored per game in the regular season. The problem was they gave up 36 in the first quarter to the Jazz who are a mediocre offensive team and playing without their starting point guard.

This game was not lost on the offensive end. They can play better in that area for sure. But they put enough points on the board to win. They simply didn't respect the Jazz at the defensive end and made little-to-no effort for the first 20 minutes of the game.

 

I guess you are a hater now for saying Harden aint bringing it. If I acted like you I would say "Harden always brings it loser what else do you want him to do" lol idiots.

 

Cp3 and Gordon have been average but Ryno has been god awful. Only James and Clint have looked good

 

Perhaps, but it's not about THIS series.

Rockets already set their standard in the regular season.

 

What is it with you and name calling man, whats wrong with you. The difference is that WE LOST, get it and you were doing this WHEN WE WON. I only care about whats happening now, not what future implications this has for the Warriors series. And btw, I still have faith in this team, I dont panic like you and others.

PJ Tucker needs to spend the night working on his J. He’ll be getting those wide open looks for the rest of the series.

Maybe not that much but they better start playing some defense on him. Guy shoots a better 3pt percentage than nearly everyone on the Rockets.

 

What no one is ass kissing, we just dont act like the sky is falling after every damn loss like you people do. Sheesh. You can criticize the team without being a complete pessimist about it holy crap.
