his three is too inconsistent for him to rely so heavily on it. He was carving up the Jazz in the third when he was penetrating and finishing/dishing to Capella.

NBA Twitter is downright giddy that the Rockets lost tonight.

Guarantee you that clowns like Chris Ryan on The Ringer and Andrew Sharp on SI Open Floor can't wait to gloat about the Jazz winning on their shitty podcasts.

Ignoring or discrediting the Rockets when they win and piling **** on them and saying told you so when they lose has been their m.o all season

To your point...the 65 wins are worth ONE MAIN thing...home court advantage throughout the playoffs....you could literally go 82-0 and lose in the playoffs and it wouldn't make a damn. Same with winning 65...the whole point was HOME COURT ADVANTAGE. We just gave it up..and why ? ..because we didn't feel like playing the first quarter and a half. Still think we will win the series BUT better get one in Utah or we're in trouble. No putting out energy for 48 minutes is inexcusable !

Lol harden says this but everyone and their grandma knows the Rockets are going to come out with the same lull next game. It's been a pattern for quite some time now.

Rockets should've won 70 or more this year. Still gimmicky to shoot nothing but 3s and rim shots.

Curry wasn't gimmicky in 2016 but just a enough to be exposed by LeBron being put on Draymond and allowed to roam and blow up all their cute sets.

That team won 73 games, and were pretty gimmicky in some ways(though not this absurd).

CP3's Clippers were tops in the league in both passes and assists. It wasn't this comical 3 out 2 in the pick and roll stuff that a team like Utah can easily guard.

Doc and his staff(Gentry the genius) didn't have all the shooting but ha a lot of creativity and movement in both players and the ball.

I swear to god the general lack of involvement on a play by play basis is part of why CP3 doesn't look so great defensively compared to any year since 2013.

I don't even think it's intentional. It's a culture habit from the general lack of movement their offensive and defensive systems require, on TOP of Houston liking to slow the pace down.

Also, please consider the CP3/Ryno synergy from earlier this year. It was for a reason. Give CP3 a genuine pop guy like Speights or Griffin from mid-range and then you get the 25/10 on 60 TS% CP3.

He's no the rim finisher like Harden is so this offense being so inelastic hurts him. He needs more options for both the defense to defend and to consider because I guarantee he'd eat that **** up but when BOTH teams know what's going to happen only LeBron/HARDEN brute force can get consistent results.

It's pretty simple, he came from OKC where it was a wait my turn type of thing. He also learned to slow down so he doesn't get tired. Everyone else needs to step it up.

He could have been doing this to start.. I want Harden to be the one to brings the fire, then everyone else will follow. Too many times PJ or Ariza has to start scraping for everyone else to pick it up..

Why though? In a playoff game?

Like 1-0, you've already think you've won the series? Or Utah is gonna roll over? Or you can just flip the switch? Or ...?

The way you finished the 2nd half game one is the way you started game two. And I mean, you said all the right things after [game one].

"Gotta play a full 48, gotta have that killer mentality, gotta continue to play hard, blahblahblah"

when no one is bringing it, he absolutely has to do it. At least show you are there, then everyone else will follow. Lebron is looking down his roster then tells his Coach, "I'm playing the whole game."

Eh who cares lol. Utah deserved to win tonight. Rox wont be 27% from 3 every night. Just gotta win 1 game in utah now. Im still not scared of this team. These Rockets are talented and smart. Theyll figure it out.

What is bad is that the Rocket players and coach in interviews basically admitted the Rockets had zero respect for for the Jazz going into this game.

Dante Exum hasnt made a three all postseason... he went 2/3 tonight. Alec Burks hasnt scored 15 points since January... he had 17 tonight.

This team played like absolute trash on defense in the first quarter and their shot abandoned them the last 4 minutes of the game.

    This team will be fine.

    Good lesson for Rockets.

They are going to hurt Utah on Friday.
