It's not like the Rockets don't have a player of their own who gets a lot of foul calls in his favor. I do worry about the refs if we get to the WCF, but I don't think the disparity will be like it is between the Warriors and Pelicans. The Rockets have homecourt, they won 65 games, they have the league MVP, and they have a respected superstar PG in CP3. The refs will give them respect.

I question if the league really wants a 4th straight Warriors-Cavs Finals. Especially another noncompetitive one like last year(Cleveland would be lucky to win a single game). Not to say they're gonna intentionally favor the Rockets in the WCF. But I think it'll be called fair. At some point, fans are gonna tune out if it's the same damn teams playing for the title every season.

Yeah, I mean it comes down to the fact that GSW has 4 all stars and the Rockets have 2. Basically the Rockets are going to HAVE to have CAPELA and GORDON raise their game to near all star level. They have the ceiling to do so, but that inconsistency is there. Can't have these Gordon dud games. Can't have another Harden 2-18 game.

The margin for error for the Rockets is very small.

You are just stating the facts. Harden is the only all star on this team and he lead them to 65 wins and the best record in the league. MVP.

We are the underdogs against GS but we have a chance. Switching everything defensively should really help us fight off the illegal screens. NO keeps trying to go around them.

 

Well, he didn't say he wanted to punch Draymond. He said, he wanted SOMEONE to punch Draymond. There's a difference there. Don't we all want someone to punch that dirty scum while we stay comfortably behind our computer screens?

 

I think if Lebron comes out of the east again, WCF should be called fairly so there could be new faces in the finals.
Though if non-Lebron team comes out of east, I think WCF will 100% be called in favor of Warriors, just like Warriors-Pels series.

 

Curry just signed a TV/movie deal with Sony and KD is one of the Top 2 promoted star of Nike.
So we'll have to see if the league can withstand the pressure from Sony and Nike.
