It's not much of an assumption that they meet in the Con. Finals. Curry looked his best last night. How do we match up with the "big four". Who checks Dramon Green? Who covers Durant? What will the team strategy be?

I tell you...I don't know how to beat 'em. Any ideas?

Tucker\Harden checks Green. Luc\Ariza\Tucker checks Durant. Harden checks Iggy. Paul checks Thompson. Gordon\Ariza check Curry.

    Yes.

How many times is the same question going to be asked in slightly different ways?

key thing is who we put Harden on

GS has no easy player to guard for Harden and we can't hide him on the court

Curry, Klay, Draymond and Durant can each go off for 40 with Harden on them

and they are such good shooters and athletic where even with help side and other players rotating to help Harden may not be enough

I think we just need to mix and up and beat them at the half court game. our bigs are better (cappella, nene, Anderson) but its gonna be a tough series my friends

Joe Chee will shut down Durant, Black shuts down Green, Aaron Jackson shuts down Curry, and Green shuts down Klay. Problem solved.

In the meantime, we need to beat the Jazz first. So please kill this thread with fire.

    Maybe we could outplay them.

Or we can just worry and fret and stew and agonize, trembling in fear at the sight of the Mighty Warriors.

Gee, I don't know. The same way they beat them twice during the regular season with a healthy Curry.

I guess you didn't watch the Details Kobe video for Donovan Mitchell that seems to unlock the Rockets defense. Rocket still have to get passed the Utah Jazz. Chill out..

It would likely take a hell of a coaching job. The Rockets offense is just so rigid though. Hard to imagine they can consistently torch GS defense but we'll see.

Even last night, the Pelicans and Warriors played at a comical 109.7 pace. Which is by far highest of any game this season. So the Warriors DRTG was actually just 105. Which would've been elite on the year.

Their defense is back and at it. They are so good from a team defensive standpoint. They even slammed Cleveland's offense to the floor for two games last season. Hard to imagine the Rockets won't spot them a couple games due to stagnant offense alone.

OTOH, defensively, I don't think it'll be a horror show by default if they limit their transition opportunities.

    I'm not worried.

All-NBA defender Chris Paul will shutdown Curry, Moute will go after Durant, Ariza will shadow Thompson, and Tucker will thug it out with Draymond.

That leaves Harden with the sole job of cooking the Warriors defense. Who's gonna try to stop him? Thompson?

Klay is finally gonna get his prom dance... with the MVP!
