whatever the case, that doesn't support the argument that the Rockets aren't the better team anyway. Warriors coast....but the 3 meetings they played the Rockets during the regular season, you betcha long johns they were trying to win those games. They were 1 and 2 in the standings during their meetings and they absolutely had something to play for each of those meetings. So yeah.....maybe the Warriors coasted against most other teams.....but what matters is the Rockets beat them when at full strength both times.
if will iso = title, sign will iso right away! the warriors switch everything on defense like we do. the only way to beat it is whith great iso play. switching everything renders off-ball screens and cuts useless and it limits the PnR. but they can never take away the iso. that and the post-up are the great equalizers in the playoffs when the defense allows nothing else. luckily paul/harden are way more used to the iso and posting up than curry or KD this season.
The role players got it going in the first half by playing ball moving offense instead of relying on heavy ISO early on. This jump started our offense and everyone was involved. Mixing up ISO and ball movement will not only keep defenses honest but allow everyone to be involved and offense non stagnant, especially in the playoffs when defenses are so good in shutting down team and player tendencies.
