I want his getting 25 wins... and the Astros to win.

 

The offensive ineptitude tonight wouldn't be nearly as frustrating if not for JV's performance thus far

 

The blowouts have skewed the numbers and have given the team the best run differential but they are middle of the pack in runs scored. Like I said the team is riding for the most part coattails of historic pitching right now.

 

I wouldn't say "ineptitude". Those guys have some good arms as well.

What? The Astros are 7th in run scored in MLB (5th in AL). Do other teams not ever have blowouts?

 

No, they are not. Astros are averaging the 7th most runs per game with half their games over their average. That is not skewed.

 

Astros have had 12 games scoring 2 runs or fewer.

 

Is it not okay to be frustrated watching the offense squander great pitching performances? Verlander with another gem and he may get another no decision because of the lacking offense. Just frustrating that's all.
