A lot of things changed for Morton. He changed his pitches and how he pitched as well. His mechanics are changed and he has been healthy for the first time. It is rare for a pitcher to add velocity after 30 but not entirely unknown. Brandon McCarthy is someone I know added multiple mph on his fastball past 30.
I love it. When opponents think you're cheating it just works in your favor. Repeat chances are now increased.
This guy simply isn't credible. The entire history of baseball says that if a mediocre pitcher "found out" a secret that the best pitching staff in the league was using, that mediocre pitcher would start doing the same thing to get an advantage, not take it to twitter....or the pre-twitter equivalent. There's no chance if he really did know something that he wouldn't be doing it himself as a 27 year old mediocre pitcher with 2 years of arbitration left. Performance is the ONLY way he can get paid more right now.

Trevor Bauer the guy that copying Tim Lincecum Delivery staring off his Career. Trevor sucked with that delivery and had 5.00 plus era in the Reds team got traded because he sucked. Now Trevor doesn't even know what a normal pitching delivery looks like. His delivery is so bootleg, 4.00 era version.
