Cavs beat Warriors in the finals by playing good defense and having Lebron and Kyrie dominate Steph Curry in Iso.

You can't run set plays against GSW and be successful. They are too long.

Attack their bigs and Steph with Harden and Paul. Success will be had.

 

His precious Anthony Davis got destroyed in game 1 without Curry, and Harden scored 41 on the dominant utah jazz defense. You wont be hearing from Max until what he wants to happen.. happens lol

He has Lebron to fall back on. He will never accept Harden as the MVP of the regular season, or acknowledge that he is getting better in the playoffs.
Harden has proven that he deserves it, but most people in the media don't give him any credit.

Yeah I was looking forward to planning my week around Max Kellerman hot takes on Monday.

I need to know if he's playing babyface or heel on the Rockets this week so that I can smack around the little children who spam the GARM with Max Kellerman threads.

 

Just have Harden break Curry's ankles, we know how easy that is to do.

 

ESPN has the worst analysts on their NBA crew. Beadle is s biased Spurs fan, Jalen wants to be s bigger celebrity and is starting to parrot what the common perception is instead of actually analyzing, Billups is ok but bland, and Pierce is just awful.

I actively hate when games are on ESPN now.

 

Historically, I thought Jalen was ok. Definitely not as bad as many guys out there.

That said, he may just have a bad take here.

Whether the Rockets can and do beat the Warriors or not... there's absolutely NO WAY to beat them at their own game. You're not going to out ball movement the Warriors. And in fact, the Cavs have proven that. Isolate their weakest defenders to create mismatches, then get them switching, and there will be open guys, just like there are against the Rockets whenever the Rockets are clicking.

Ultimately it will come down to talent and which talent shines. If Draymond plays his best, and Klay is on fire... I mean, there's probably not a team in history that could then beat that team. But the Rockets can through their own play prevent those guys from being on fire, and get Curry in foul trouble, etc.

So we shall see...

 

yep. ISO is the Rockets' biggest strength since they have the best ISO player in NBA HISTORY and of course CP3 who is pretty darn elite himself.

The Rockets can take down the Worriers absolutely with this strategy. Throw in Ryno and especially Ego being in the zone, Rockets would be VERY tough to beat for the Worriers.

Rockets have the versatility this year of containing Steph and Klay into "5-14" shooting games. I'll live with that. KD will get his...but it won't be enough. Nick Young?...another scrub that could get hot...but I still feel good about the Rockets in that series.

 

But conversely, you could apply that same logic to the Rockets. If the Rockets are all on and clicking on "all cylinders".....Harden, CP3, RYNO, EGO, Capela, Ariza, Tucker/Luc (one of the 2)........no team will/can beat them either.

 

That's why this year's WCF will be the greatest series of all time (in any sport of any era)

 

Celtics beat 76ers pretty easily with very little rest after their emotional win.. What will the media say about that? There is nothing the media won't do to diminish what the Rockets do as a team.

 

Add to that the slow pace Harden plays at slows down the Warriors. Iso ball cuts down the amount of passes, which cuts down the amount of TO's, which cuts down the amount of potential GSW transition points. Rockets switching defense muddies up GSW's great passing.

Morey is obsessed with beating the Warriors.
