No CP3 does not have to match Curry's production. He can make thigns tough for Curry guarding him

 

I wouldn't doubt it. Remember he had a leg injury recently. It might still be lingering a bit. He probably isn't 100% but even at 80% he's still going to make a huge impact.

 

Yes and he will have to if we are to beat the Warriors. I said to people before the season started, Harden is and always will be the PG. Paul needs to shoot a lot more when he is on the floor with Harden. He should be taking 5-6 more shots per game than his regular season average, especially when so many of our shooters are struggling. Paul's value is not great when he's on the floor with Harden because he doesn't get to distribute so much - so he should be shooting even if it means less efficiency from him. He's almost too efficient right now.

 

On low volume? No. That's why his stats are down...because low volume. He will pick it up when/if he needs to. I believe he is doing what he thinks is best for the team all around to win the championship. He might tweak that formula a little bit when the WC finals come around.

 

I agree. I promise you one thing though. At certain points the Warriors are going to trap Harden to the best of their ability. That is when Paul's value will rise. Once Harden gets it going they will trap, or when it's the end of a tight game.

 

True, and I'm also confident that Paul's hatred for Curry and the Warriors will make him feel 5 years younger!

I just hope Paul doesn't go into this thinking he's going to lock down Curry. He's not. He couldn't lock down Teague, the league is different. His defense hasn't faded much, but he is having to switch all the time anyway. He needs to SCORE on Curry. That is very very very possible.

Right now, the worst defender in the 2 starting line ups is Steph Curry. By far. Paul will be fine, whether one-on-one or on switches or off the ball. He is the perfect weapon against the Warriors.
