Spoiler: Spoiler Thor coming in to dominate at Wakanda and Cap's first appearance drew cheers in my theatre. They were cool moments. Thor is a little OP now and needs to be nerfed.
No. Fox own the rights to the character, maybe sometime after Disney's purchase of Fox goes through. Don't hold your breath, we're talking 2020 at the earliest and even then I doubt he'll join the Avengers. I could see him joining the X-men though.
If the fox deal goes through, I imagine a Fantastic Four movie will happen very quickly. They can drop them in seamlessly. The X-Men, and mutants (including Deadpool) would require some significant storyline, alternate universes I'm guessing. They can't just say mutants have been here all along, we just never mentioned them. I'm personally fine with the X-Men in their own world, the MCU is crowded enough as is.
When the X-Men and Avengers have to come together to defeat some dimension hopping enemy in 2027, it's gonna be their next 2 billion dollar movie. I'm hyped already.
I'm not sure where this movie ranks in the MCU, though it should be at least in the top 5 just for the effort of putting together a movie of this massive scale. I'll say this though, I think it easily has the best soundtrack. A number of very powerful moments that were amplified by the score, such as the very beginning with Thanos' ominous theme playing and the music playing during Spoiler Gamora's death scene .
As much as I love the soundtrack, Black Panther's kills it. Mind you I'm not necessarily talking about the music IN the movie (Infinity War definitely wins there).
I watched it a second time and this bunch was louder and rowdier. I'd be pissed if I couldn't hear the follow up to the joke sequences for the first time. It's like they picked up some epic soundtrack guy like LoTR for this movie compared to the others. It belongs, but it's different because the recent movies used a lot of current tracks to paint the mood and give each scene more depth.
Just saw it. Even my wife, who generally likes but forgets these movies five minutes after she sees them, was very impressed by this film.
I enjoyed the Black Panther soundtrack too, and I hope that's one of a few Oscars it wins (best soundtrack, best individual track for "All The Stars", best costume design). I'm just really into orchestral music and the score IN the movie was really powerful, almost too good for the visuals.
Yes. See spoiler below. Spoiler Yep, Captain Marvel... but who knows if she'll be in part 2 (or whatever tf they're calling it) or part 3
