He does live in Houston. I wasn't making that up. He lives off of The Golf Club of Houston in Fall Creek. A close friend's sister is one of his neighbors.

I'm sure he wants to, but that still plays a small part in it. He's going to go where he can have a chance to start and get the most guaranteed money. If the Texans are bringing Miller back and feel Foreman is going to be healthy, this wouldn't be the best fit for him.

It seems every other team got them a rookie RB or two. CJ is going to have to settle for a backup role. Foreman might not be ready the beginning of the year so there's a spot for a backup here

Well there you go. They whiffed on getting their RB in the draft and went to plan B.

With the timing, my guess is a draft pick.

No, I got it. Garoppolo was taken 3 spots ahead of the Fido pick, had NE not taken him the Texans were likely to take the QB with the early 3rd.

But you responded to a post about XSF, not "Fido".

Many people specifically complained about that pick at the time, including me, and Braddock has reported that O'Brien chose XSF over Garoppolo.

And the question was specifically about hindsight- someone asked which good QBs we have passed up. I was just answering the question.

There were also news reports that Texans might take him in the 2nd or 3rd, so it's not even hindsight.

I just saying, GM smith and TExans franchise were content with mediocrity. How else can u explain Mallet, Yates, Fitzpatrick, savage and other sht qbs rotations we had instead of trying to draft any resemblance of a franchise qb. We should have been trying as soon as we signed schaub, but nahhh we were happy with his production until he went down.

Complacency seems to be Texans greatest strength, hence why we are always mediocre. I'm only glad that our first usage of a first round pick was on a legitimate franchise qb, it's just sad that it took this long. GM SMith and an owner that is happy with being meh, with a franchise that is known for being a well-respected organization means nothing if we don't even have a gud chance for a ring.

RIP Andre Johnson's/Foster's Career, if only u had a franchise that strives to be superbowl champs and not just happy with divisional champs/making it into playoffs.

U know GM Smith is garbage if it took near the end of Johnson career, their best player to play in the playoffs. Sure u can blame the coaches, but the people that has been with the franchise the longest is the GM and owner.
