That ruling is interesting to me. The fan didn't really lean over much and he caught it at chest high. What was he supposed to do? If the A's player missed is the fan just supposed to take a baseball to the chest/groin?
I would say very likely the right call, but I don't like the angle. Caveat: though could have missed a better angle. Edit. Seeing a closer replay, he is clearly out.

From every angle I saw, looked like the fans arms were clearly in the field of play. That being said, the Astros need to put that guy along the first or third base lines to legally interfere with players reaching into the stands. It's ridiculous how often Astros fans back out of the way in those situations.
Probably would have scored anyway but that's 2 turf/field monster assists for the A's along with a fan assist
