I am watching this game and have become increasingly alarmed that the Warriors are still the Warriors. Even without Steph.

It’s really the Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, and perhaps some Don Nelson’s Warriors that influenced how this Kerr-coached Warriors team plays. The Warriors don’t play anything like the McHale-era Rockets.

But, yeah, maybe we were responsible somehow for the coaching change.

not only do you have to play a perfect game to beat them but you have to overcome some bias officiating.

 

GS will make quick work of the Pelicans. Hopefully we can do the same of the Jazz.

 

Pelicans have no defense? First round might be a fluke. Alvin had no plan for GSW.

 

This is against the pels. They wasn't gonna do to warriors what they did to blazers. Blazers didn't have enough firplepower to overcome.

 

Im not sure there is a plan for GSW.

I agree with jeff van gundy when he said the only thing the warriors have to fear is houston. This rockets team is the only team in the nba that can possibly beat the warriors.

Its just the first game. GSW doing what they are supposed to do. I think the Pelicans panicked. You have to be disciplined.

 

2 things that i don't like that i'm seeing is klay is on fire this postseason and iggy is shooting well too.

those are 2 guys that are going to have to struggle mightily for the rockets to have a chance in a 7 game series.

 

I hate to bust your guys bubble. But the jazz might of took down a team that could of rought up the warriors and the rockets. We have no idea what there level is like right now until tomorrow. So lets kinda wait on this prediction after game 1.

Right now its looking like the Warriors are waiting for the results of the real challenge which is Houston or Utah. They just wanted to rest the end of the season, it was all a joke to them.

 

They did but I think by this point they have grown used to playing without him clearly.

GSW just has too many people they can throw at Davis.. On top of that Looney was guarding Davis 1v1.. that's tough.
