Jazz, Pels, and now Boston advance with significant injuries. NBA playoffs going to be real boring till its Houston/Golden State. Who cares about the East......... Yea, this playoffs is going to suck, who is with me on these feelings?
Westbrook apologists are in the same subset as Antetokounmpo apologists -- that freakish athleticism blinds them to the fact that neither player is built for this era of basketball with their poor long range shooting. That's why both got outplayed by rookies: Mitchell and Tatum.
You forget Horford. Horford-Tatum-Hayward-Brown-Irving, in the East, that is arguably a team of five(!) all-stars out there. However, none of the five seems to be a top-5 player material like Embiid and Simmons. Add in Saric, the star prospect of Fultz and free agency signing, 76ers still has a higher ceiling than the Celtics.
Adam Silver is really letting teams play. I nveer felt there were a call sent from upon high to sway games and a series. The NBA would have loved a Unicorn Matchup between Giannis and Simmons. The NBA would have loved a series between Russ and Harden. Lebron should be worried. Adam Silver doesn't care about the ratings.
Lebron is not losing to the Pacers...they blew it in game 5. That was the game that they couldve stunned him.
MIL is pure garbage. Has probably the 2 best players on the court, and can't close out against a team without Hayward / Kyrie / Brown.
Giannis needs to expand his game. NO one respects his jumper...Once that happens the game is going to naturally open up. Kris Middleton is a baller...
Simmons and Fultz can't shoot worth a damn. I'll take the Boston rookies Brown, Tatum, Rozier who are all light years ahead in terms of shooting and scoring. Add a healthy Hayward and that's a team built like the Warriors and Rockets with 3PT shooters. Then, there is Irving with the best handles and the best finishing moves to the basket in the league. Surround him with all those shooters listed above next year and he will be a top assist man in the league.
Congrats to the Celtics. They don't have much chance against the Sixers but the experience will benefit them. If Jaylen Brown doesn't play, it will be a sweep. Bucks have some big decisions to make this summer. In addition to changing the roster, they cannot afford a miss on the new coach.
