Booth is loose. Bagwell adding insight. He's a natural. This is what the nba wanted with players only. It's the best broadcast in a long long time.

Fisher definitely looking better recently. Astros are only winning at 102 win pace, maybe with his bat we can get to that 110 win pace referenced in the other thread.

I'm really proud of our crowds as of late. Winning a World Series certainly helps.

Looked over at the Indians game earlier, and man was there a lot of empty seats. Even for a team that won 21/22 in a row last year.

Feels like Correa's been swinging at so many of the low/away/not even close pitches this season

Go back and look at his HR tonight, how far his arms were from his body. Looked to me like he just ran into that one. [/downer]

eta: and compare it to the swing he put on that CF Bomb! he hit a few days ago.

This 3 man booth is phenomenal. Wouldn’t work every game, I don’t think, but in spots this is highly entertaining.

He and Altuve. The Biggio Special.

I have no metrics to back this up, but I agree with what you've seen.

I agree. But I hope the more success he has the more he buys time to put things together

"You use pine tar or the Manny Mota stick?"

"I dunno what a Manny Mota stick is. (wink)"

    "laughter..."

"Nah, I used pine tar. Couldn't make the Mota stick work. I know Manny Mota, saw him riding a bike around Dodger Town. I borrowed my pine tar from Craig."

I came to this thread specifically because of Baggie. He's a natural.

Fisher lets so many pitches go in big spots. Strange.

And that's what Fisher still needs to work on.

I'm OK with him being aggressive with some swings and misses (don't love it, but it's tolerable for now), but he watches far too many hittable 2 strike pitches.

I swear this is like the 5th time our guys have had a no hitter well into the game.

Hinch would have been in a tough spot if LMJ was hitless through 6 with 90 plus pitches.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Stros starters have taken a no-hitter or perfect game into the 6th in like 5 of their last 7 starts?

eta: I am wrong, 5 of their last 9 starts were no-hitters until the 5th.
