Recent immigrants vote democrat. From 1980 to 1990 the asian american population more than doubled. And almost doubled again in 2000. from 2000 to 2010 it went from 11 to 17 million. To expect a stable voting trend with such a dramatically shifting population is r****ded. The bigotry of analyzing all asians as a monobloc is also an explanation. in 1980 the number of Indians were extremely low, that has changed dramatically with Indians getting over 80% of all H-1B visas from 2007 to 2017.
Precisely. This was obvious to me from the start, considering Kanye's history and personality. Especially considering that he has a new album coming out soon. Some people really need to improve their ability to recognize trolling. It's not that difficult. It's also unsurprising and totally expected that Laura Ingraham (a provocateur herself) did not order Kanye to "shut up and rap". I am glad that Chance the Rapper today clarified his "black people don't have to be democrats" tweet. I had no problem with his tweet, but a lot of people overreacted to it. There are plenty of black people (myself included) that have disagreements with the Democratic Party and some of its positions. But there's no way in hell that most of them could support Trump or many other Republicans.

and i find the trump supporters reactions priceless. they claim they hate celebrities who get involved in politics and "hollywood" culture in general, yet they elected a reality tv star president and are now cheering and defending kanye simply b/c he said he likes trump. he has offered no tangible policy reasons for his support, but it doesnt even matter..now trump supporters think he is a "conservative" and are defending him. sad.
I think you are mistaken. It's not so much that people are taking their opinions from Kanye. Though the hate filled backlash MAY open their eyes to his particular opinions. It's all about 2 other things: 1. Much like Bruce Jenner and women from the MeToo. This is about someone having the courage to state their opinion in an environment not well suited for that opinion to be made. and 2. It's about watching the 'tolerant left' publicly crucify him for it. The man hasn't victimized anyone. He hasn't assaulted anyone. All he is doing is rambling about Trump, helping black communities, and love. It's pathetic and sickening to watch the lefts reaction. Stating a key point again. The man has not promoted any direct violence, or hate on anyone. Dude even said he loved Hillary.
Like I said, I'm not really following anything Kanye talks about. Is that why I'm not seeing a freak-out from the left that other people keep talking about? I haven't seen a huge backlash against Kanye that some people seem to think exists. People keep saying Kanye is being trashed by the left and crucified. I just haven't really seen anything other than a mention after some other stories and the odd post on social media. It almost seems like the left doesn't really care too much. It doesn't seem to be big on anybody's mind from the left that I watch, read or to whom I pay attention.
Poeple on the right think "I disagree with Kanye" is freaking out or something. Or yeah, the odd article about him. No one even went that hard at him, most are seeing the entire thing as a joke...

Where is all this lunacy you speak of? Nobody seems to be taking it seriously at all. People talk about Kanye because they like to talk about celebrities and Kanye likes to get people to talk about Kanye. That's all.
