It's not supposed to be a foul if the shooter jumps into the defender, which is what George did. Gobert likely would've made contact if George went straight up and that'd be an easy call.

Yes it's a foul. If you leave your feet as a defender and your body isn't straight that's a foul every single time anytime. Doesn't matter if the shooter leans into you or not. a shooter has the choice to take a shot anyway they want That's a foul period. Stop trying to justify it. Harden is one of the masters at this.
