    Hard to say for me as today, but if we would be able to get DeAndre for cheap to replace Capela eh...would be interesting to see this question again in case we can't beat GS (or worse) btw.

    No, and such a trade has no chance of coming to fruition

    The only way Lebron gets here is an opt-in and trade.

    I’d rather give up all the first rounders you could give then send them Capela. Nobody is more important to this team than Harden and then him.

    To acquire a star old formula: 2 first round picks + an expiring contract

    To acquire a star new formula: 1 valuable young player + 1 valuable first round pick + cap flexibility

    Example: injury Blake Griffin ( miss 105 games last 4 seasons)

    Griffin = Tobias Harris + 1 lotto pick + Avery Bradley (cap release)

    Doesn’t matter Lebrons worth in trade in this case.

    It’s either you take our package (likely the best we will offer is EG, salary filler, and meh picks) or Lebron walks as a free agent to LA or wherever for nothing.

    The value here is subjective to whatever Cleveland thinks is worth it to them to value his cap space value coming off the books vs getting back assets and a good player like EG.

    We cannot do SnT because of the luxury tax. We can do opt ins like EGo for PG13 and Ryno, Tucker, fillers, 3rd team for LBJ. That way we have Paul, George, James, Harden and LeBron, James, Chris, Paul.

    Capela is starting to look like a superstar and is very young. If Lebron was the same age I would do it but we would only have a few years with him. We can lock Capela up for 10. I know he benefits a lot from Harden but that has nothing to do with his rebounding skills and his jump block timing and speed. He is everything we wanted Dwight to be.

    Clint Capela is going to be an All Star, outplaying Karl Anthony Towns in offense and defense. Clint Capela is getting noticed on Media and NBA fans during the playoffs. Clint Capela can get more awards next year Most Improved Player and Defensive Player of the Year. Rudy Gobert or Steven Adam is in the next round, Maybe Joel Embiid in NBA Finals.

    I think Capela and Daryl have a friendly bond, Capela will get a fair deal.
