It's why my cheeks remain clinched. My faith in Harden was at it's peak last year. I seriously thought he would win every game by himself. Then game 5 and 6 happened. It's been a long road to recovery. I'm still not fully healed.

Even with amazing games under Harden's belt, I still have more faith in the whole team more than Harden as an individual.

    dont @ me.

Let me get it straight, you dont trust harden because he held back that championship roster last year right?

Brah. Houston and Minnesota both played like **** the first half. Minnesota carried that intensity into the second half while Houston decided to Ric Flair Drip and Woo on that b****.

Don’t even bother trying to use my name again in this thread because I am not apologizing for ****. I have been a loyal doubter since Game 6 1997.

Correct. Last year I trusted Harden more than I trusted that team. Harden let me down. I don't care how fair it is.

so you regret not trusting pbev, dekker, harrel more?

in hindsight, who could have single handedly gotten that team (ryno as 2nd highest paid player/20% of the cap, pbev as starting pg, dekker & harrell as bench frontline) past 55 wins/2nd round anyway?

that team held back harden from getting farther.. not the other way around

Classic vlaurelio arguing and not reading.

LAST YEAR I TRUSTED HARDEN MORE THAN I TRUSTED THE TEAM

Harden was the only one that could lead that trash team to that record. The whole damn team was Harden for the whole season. So now, in the playoffs, why should I automatically trust other players to carry the load?

okay fair enough I'm just trying to understand why even with 2 amazing games under Harden's belt plus 1 where he rose over adverisity (game 2 shooting) and another solid game by himself which unfornutately resulted in a miraculous win for minny, you still don't have faith Harden as an individual

I can understand harden failing to carry that heavy burden last year

but now he finally has help/lighter burden (cp3, tucker, lmm, gg/jj >>>>>> pbev, slou, dekker, harrel)

thus those amazing season and PO games so far this year

Because it has happened LAST YEAR before. Harden had many, MANY, great games in the regular season and in the playoffs. which of course made me have full confidence that he would lift the team to the WCF. Game 5 Harden was KILLING the Spurs then all of sudden he forgot how to play basketball when the series was there for the taking.

I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop ever since. A couple of great games, and then when it matters most, for Harden to suddenly forget how to hoop. I only have history as my reference.

So, like I said before: I TRUST THE TEAM MORE THAN I TRUST HARDEN THIS YEAR

I trust that the team can drag Harden from the fire when he needs it most. This team won't fall apart if Harden isn't on his game.

lol @DonKnock quoting my "Daryl Moar3" post....like that isn't true. Feast and Famine. Rockets feasted in the 3rd....compare that to the previous 6 quarters.....hell, add the first two games to that too.

You live and die by the three in this offense.....hopefully they continue to hit.

Great thing about clutch fans is that there are so many people who post here that you can put a large chunk of folks on ignore and still read a lot of posts.

Are you saying Harden quit last year because he had bad teammates? So Harden won’t quit this year because his teammates are better?

We won game 1 n 2 with bad shooting

And game 3 was nothing more than a miraculous loss

Not sure what your option is? Start shooting long 2s?

That’s the thing, it takes a whole team to win a title. You should never put your eggs all in one basket.

No one in the history of the league has won a title by himself.

Harden is unfairly graded too often.

You wanna know what I do when the rockets are down, losing or not playing up to standards?

I root and cheer harder. I try and urge better play with positive reinforcement energy. I support the team.

Diss the team, talk shiit about the players or question their desire to win. I don’t abandon the team.

LOL mavsprick you told me that you were in Dallas dressed up in Rockets Red but when I started asking proof you started ducking and crawling back to your rock

if bringing up game 6 and rockets failing is the only way for you to keep relevant then fine

I bet you love this too bad your self-proclaimed "quitter" didn't get hurt. that was your chance to get superstar jeremy lamb back

Nope. The way this team is built....just keep shooting. Feast or famine....just hope we end the season feasting! :)
