the word "superstar" gets put on players way too easily. He isn't a superstar, he is a star player. There are plenty of stars, but not too many superstars.

Harden, LeBron, Curry, Durant......they are Superstars. Westbrook is borderline but still hasn't proven he can get past the first round without Durant

 

Hmmm...I, guess thats kinda fair. But..for me I would say Superstar is top 10. Which I think you can make a strong argument for.

Again hes got the best real plus minus in the league

I said it was more than that. He was killing clock for garbage shots, he was losing the ball, he refused to drive on KAT while KAT was in foul trouble.

Harden wasn’t just missing, he was hurting the offense.

 

Yea I fence ride a bit but they're my f*cking team!! I don't take a sh*t on them when they struggle a bit but I just don't get the "fans" that are out to prove their own ******* doomsday scenario when sh*t goes a bit sideways with OUR team.

I know, its a board, opinions, blah blah but it's fu*cking weird. It's like a weird fetish that isn't illegal but creeps the sh*t out of everyone....

 

A player you can build a championship team around, a guy who is a flat out killer/scorer. Someone who can get past the second round as the man on a team. If Paul was also a killer scorer, then i might view him as a superstar

 

3 piss poor games in a row?

game 2: aside from bad shooting he had an awesome 8 assist, 3 steal, 3 block game.. not piss poor except for never harden fans like you
game 3: 29 & 7 really? piss poor?
game 4: you were too anxious to bash him

guess which is the only player in this playoffs with 3 wins, 29+ points, & 6+ assists

 

He takes those some shots all the damn time and guess what, we win. Its just a matter of WHEN not IF. Even when Harden is not making shots, him and Paul are OUR offense. They make our team go.

 

not a real good stat, he plays with Harden and every time Harden scores, it adds to his plus/minus

wins is what it is about

I'm glad he is on our team though, helps Harden dominate even more

 

i get it. thats fair enough. i have similar thoughts as well. then honestly harden has yet to prove hes a superstar with this definition then bc hes been passed the 2nd round once and we know what miracle happened for that to occur. but this is off topic and something for another day.

You are gonna not give any credit to the opposing team? You think they just woke up and came straight to the court at 7pm? They didn't do any planning or watch any film..?
Rockets basketball = hitting 3s...obviously when we hit a bunch in the 3rd q, we started winning.
When you rely primarily on 3s..and you are not hitting them..things will look ugly.

Go back and take a stretch of 4 game slices from the season. You think we were just playing rockets basketball night in and night out? No. We won and lost differently.

I mean, hes been at the top(lol well topish) in this stat for years now...I believe. So its not just Harden. Also Dantoni staggers both Harden and him alot so theres alot of time where hes out there by himself.

 

Harden can put the team on his back and get you 40, just not sure if Paul could do that

i think cp3 has proven this year he still has that in him. weve seen it plenty of times. is it as often as his younger days no. but thats the point of coming here

 

i actually thought Paul's number should be higher considering he plays against the bench unit quite a bit in the second and 4th quarters
