He used to use the step back mid range jumper in his bag of tricks but now it is rare, perhaps GM and coach insists he does not take that shot.

 

We gotta tighten up on defense in the 2nd half. Can’t let them hit 7 straight 3’s again. Hopefully Harden continues his stroke and goes off. We need a team effort in the second half.

We saw it for that one game in the regular season. I remember saying, "uh oh".

Didnt want to play them in the first round and that was the reason. They have killers on their team.

yea we actually had more time than i initially thought. def could have got a layup at the rim.

i wouldve passed to CP3 instead if we HAD to take the 3 in transition tbh lol

 

our team is soft, especially anderson, they should take a hard foul instead of giving up easy layup, it's just plain disgusting and let other team get into rhythm

 

I'm more excited to watch Jazz vs Okc

 

They’re defensive intensity looks a lot more disciplined and focused this game compared to last game. In a way this is a Do or Die game for the Rockets. Hope that carries over in the 2nd half

Man, the Harden haters and crybabies are out in full force. I hope you guys have to choke on your words by the end of the night.

 

Comparing Harden to one of the worst volume shooter in the league isn't really saying much, especially when he doesn't have the freak athleticism so his game is much more dependent on shooting the ball well

 

More annoying than anything is watching Derrick Rose turn back the clock

 

This is why I don't watch games with friends -- or in public really. I am way too emotionally connected to my teams...I look like Thibs pacing in front of the TV with a wrinkled look on my face.

Ok putting down the Crown...

 

Yep, he's adjusted. They are crashing in on Harden and sort of have a box around him but they are doing this to anyone that dares to drive. They are giving up 3 pointers doing this but we are not hitting them. They are a long team, they have a lot of great defenders. The paint is rough and tough right now. They are even crashing in so hard that if someone had a Tony Parker floater they'd easily have a big night on these guys. Gordon is missing these shots, CP3 is doing better at them....Harden just refuses to take mid range shots, but that's his game.

Once/if our 3s start to fall, that should open up the inside.

Right now though, they are playing hard. Even if they are closing down the paint they are hustling to contest every shot.

We can’t assume we can just turn it on mid game. The way we’re playing we look doomed. Minny is gonna turn up this 3rd quarter just like last game.

Truth. Does any other superstar run as hot & cold as James?

His highs? Damn! (Seem fewer & far between in the playoffs)
His lows? Daaammnnn. (Not good.)

Playoffs! Rise up! KD balls out. AD balled out. LeBron balling out with shitty supporting cast. Curry balls out. Choose another [consensus] top 5-10 player in the playoffs, they're probably balling out.
