Stop b1tching everyone admits they didnt try to win the last game and they gonna fix that

    Would you rather:
    1. Lose by a blowout game 3 with minny hitting 55% of their 3s
    2. Barely best minny shooting their avg 35% of their 3s

Choose 1 or 2? Is is that hard? What is a better game 3 outcome for you?

I mean, yea I get it. They are stacked. And thats not unreasonable expectations for the first two rounds, especially for this team. Lets just see how they respond for Game 4, I think thatll be very telling.

Cris Carter: I feel like I went by a used car salesman & he was trying to sell me something. The car got 100K miles on it, don't need no warranty but I'm going to be OK. That's the way he sounded like.

Broussard: I'm with him. I would not be worried. You don't always run through the playoffs. 2008 Celtics went 7 games, 7 games, 6 games and of course beat the Lakers in the championship. You can have these struggles. They need to win tonight. If you lose tonight, then you need to be concerned. As a fan or person on the outside, there were 3 questions I had and most people had: 1) Is Harden going to be clutch and play as well as he did in the regular season because he hadn't done that historically 2) Is Chris Paul going to struggle 3) D'Antoni has had great regular season teams and never gotten over the hump. We've seen evidence of some of those things. Chris Paul game one, James Harden in games two & three is 10 or 11/39 from the field so he has not been the player he was in the regular season & Eric Gordon has not been himself.

Cris: He's one of the reason why they were special.

Nick: People should never underrate how hard it is for a team up 2-0 with home court to go on the road and win game three. That is the biggest game for your opponent all year long. That's the difference between keeping your season alive & being down 3-0 and the series being over. TWolves played like it. To the concerns about Harden/Paul, they're overstated to this degree: Paul had one bad game(game one). Harden has had one bad game(game two).

Broussard: Game three he was 9/21.

Nick: That's not that far off his season average.

Cris: When you watch the game, he wasn't clutch. Didn't like himself during the regular season.

Nick: Tonight is the biggest game this unit has played together. You go up 3-1, go back to Houston & complete the gentleman's sweep, no problem. You feel great. You lose tonight, you go back to Houston feeling the pressure closing in on your neck. You mentioned Eric Gordon, it's not just Gordon. Gordon/Tucker/Ariza shooting a combined 26 shots per game right at 26%.

Cris: Now they have to get Anderson back in the flow. How many minutes do they give him? You can tell they miss Mbah a Moute. He's such a utility player. Their rotation is a little bit off but we shouldn't be alarmed. They haven't played a playoff game in Minnesota since 2004. To be able to win the first one with the enthusiasm in the arena, we shouldn't jump into a panic because of that. They can beat any team in the NBA up there. Let's not overreact to game three but this is not the Houston team we saw win 65 games.

    Why?

Cris: Haven't been consistent. They could have lost game one. They played well in game two and lost game three. Minnesota is a legit opponent for them, presents some problems & Minnesota hadn't played stellar basketball to get to 2-1 so they can improve.

Broussard: This isn't a typical 8th seed. This is a legitimately good team.

Nick: I think the Rockets will be fine. Here's the biggest level of concern: KAT hasn't had a big game.

We “peaked” too early.....got the #1 seed too soon and coasted. We have to cinch up our sphincters once more—of our own volition, mind you, before someone else does it for us.

Rockets needed a wakeup a call and a miraculous 55% from the arc is perfect.

If not for that Rockets would have swept Minny half asleep.

If we win tonight all is forgiven in terms of the Gm 3 performance.
But as a team they have to understand that we can't afford lackadaisical non-interested performances like that.
They'll be no games to spare going forward.

Ask yourself was it really that miraculous of a game from the Wolves or was it more in line with what the Rockets will face moving forward?

The Pelicans are playing out of their minds and that was a normal shooting performance by the Warriors standards.

If we really want to win a title the EXCUSES have to stop!

That WAS a miraculous game from Minnesota in some respects. C'mon, 15-27 from 3-point land? The Rockets defense was pretty soft, but even so, there's no way they should shoot like that the rest of the series. In Game 1, they were 8-23 and in Game 2, they were 5-18. That's in line with how they shot the ball from beyond the arc all season. If that happens in Game 4, then at least the 4th quarter should be competitive.

Yeah I understand that the Wolves had a great shooting night but my point is that as the competition increases that type of shooting by our opponent won't be such a shock.

That percentage from 3 is always a shock, even by a good shooting team. Which the T'Wolves ain't.

    1. Rockets needed a loss because they were half assing the games and still winning
    2. You how how rare games are where a team shoots more than 20 attempts from behind the arc and makes at least 55%? Howbout how rare those teams lose.
