We beat them handily on their home court. And that's a once in a blue moon night when Melo actually was scoring like vintage Melo.
They aren't as fearsome without Roberson. But a potential second round matchup will be tough. They are still a team to be feared considering how they played the Jazz in Game 1. PG13 seems locked in. Rockets should root for Jazz to upset. They will be much easier to beat than Thunder.
pg's going to la or a better team, probably la melo wants to be on a contender but also knows it wont be easy so he might stay and get one last big contract russel knows he's a stat padder and wont give that up for anything nothing to worry about. we might need ryan to be 100% though. as much as i talk **** about him, i know he can be really good. hopefully he can earn his contract in these po's.
We shouldn’t fear anyone but the thunder are good and Adams is a nightmare matchup for capela. Should we beat them? Yes sir
okc can win some games in a series based off of talent alone if their big 3 gets hot. they can win with defense too. in the end we should win the series, but i think they'd be a worse matchup for us than utah.
I think the Thunder should fear the Jazz by now. If they didn't make the stupid mistakes they did in g1 the series would be over right now. I don't see Utah losing at home. They are younger, more athletic, and a more cohesive unit that plays together. I think in Utah we see Russ being Russ with 30 shots.
We should fear Utah more because a) they are better defensively than OKC and b) because ZDog is going to release a greatest hits on our ass.
Nah, the Rockets are a bad matchup for OKC because they rely on defense and the Rockets can score on them. The Rockets also have an underrated defense and OKC has a mediocre offense. The Rockets are also deeper and faster and just as athletic. I don't see any situation where they give the Rockets matchup problems and that is assuming they survive Utah since the Jazz now have home court advantage.
