4 episodes in and I'm still wondering if the black child is adopted, a step child, or the product of an affair.
I've only watched the first episode and thought it was reasonably fun. My significant other watched about 20 minutes and got bored with the kid that plays Will, and with the script (and if you don't like Will, it makes it tough on the series - can't argue with her about the script). I kind of enjoyed it, but I have a low bar when it comes to SF. In other words, I often enjoy the bad flicks and sometimes a bad series, as well as the good and the great ones. Her? Not so much. Her standards remain high (and I get high and don't give a damn about the standards!), so I'll have to watch the rest with the dog. I hope it's worth it.
After watching a couple episodes it's clear this series has been misnamed. It should be called chicks in space.

Are you guys trying to compare this version of Dr. Smith, to the original? I think the 2018 version just has no redeemable qualities, and is just trying to do whatever she can to survive. I read up a bit on the original, and apparently, that version of Dr. Smith was so popular, that they made them the star of the show, eventually.
I remember watching the re-runs of Lost in Space back in the gap, Dr. Smith was the only guy on the show that had any personality. Plus, he was still a part of that crew so his interest still aligned with the Robinson family. I agree, this new Dr. Smith is just trying to survive by any means necessary; she has no crew or allegiance to anyone. We saw it much earlier in the season, I'm not sure she is supposed to have any redeemable qualities.
Two episodes in and I'm really digging it. They put a lot of money into this, and it shows. I love the dysfunctional family dynamic though, and all the emotional weight it carries. Definitely the strongest aspect.
There's only two adult females in this show...and only one of them is a "chick". Who else are you referring to as "chicks"??
